Our garden spa suite with outside spa was very comfortable and we loved being able to sink into the verandah spa at the end of hot days. The room was well serviced with fine toiletries, comfy bed, robes, slippers, coffee etc but could have done with wi-fi and in-room safe, also foxtel. The wi-fi in the public areas was haphazard. The breakfasts included in our package were... More

We had two nights at Peppers Mineral Springs. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant was five star, the food amazing. The grounds of the hotel were lovely and the main dining and breakfast areas were beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean with a spa pool on the deck. We enjoyed our stay.

My partner booked this for a romantic weekend for the two of us. He booked it before I had a chance to read the reviews. The reviews left me expecting a tired, small, dated and dirty room. We were pleasantly surprised and had a gorgeous weekend in our beautiful room. Our only criticism is the paper thin walls where we... More

Booked this for my husband's 60th as a surprise. We arrived only to be disappointed with the accomodation. It's certainly needs some work, its tired and dated and the website pictures must be update of what it's really like now not when the place was new. Found the staff not the most friendly or attentative. Certainly was a huge disappointmrnt... More

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to 2 bedroom villa as we have stayed before. However the main benefit is the place itself. The bar and ability to have al lovely snack at lunch. Breakfast was quite good though thought odd they charged for proper coffee. Only major issue is no swimming pool.

Please do yourself a favour - avoid this place. The staff were very good and the dinner was excellent but the rooms were the pits. The first room we were shown to reminded me of my student days! At $80 a night it would have been fine. But at the sky high rates this place charges it was a disgrace.... More

Having read all the reviews I expected an average room which is an apt description. Very small. A little tired. Not a room you would want spend much time in. Knowing this, I enjoyed the stay. The spa is excellent. Common areas are large but at the same time cozy to sit in. The Conservatory bright and inviting. The Argus... More

The service was excellent. As soon as we arrived the friendly staff made us feel at home. My fiancé proposed to me here and the staff kept it a brilliant secret. The food was delicious and were very accommodating with his secret plans. Their knowledge of the area was second to none. We were to the Daylesford Lake and advised... More

Stayed 9th Jan for a birthday treat. At $475 a night it was more of a $250 a night room. The rooms are getting tired, as things do, and you don't get much for your money. You would expect a free mini bar and free papers in your room for the price we paid. Knowing Daylesford I went and got... More

I reviewed this hotel 1 year ago when I stayed on my wedding night. Explained then that they hadn't done anything particularly special, despite the $800 price tag for a 22 hour stay... They asked for the opportunity to change my mind, so went again for our 1st anniversary as we thought it would be nice to revisit the area... More
