Stayed in yellow room. Lived the Edwardian feel including bath and loo. Would return to stay in the green room next time. Had an early afternoon call on check in day to advise where keys would be left etc. if you want room service. Your beds turned down etc this is not the place for you. Fantastic location looking over... More

Daylesford is such a beautiful town and staying at "The Manse" made our stay so very special. So many lovely, friendly touches; sweets in the foyers, chocolates on the pillow, delights awaiting on the bath rail, tea in a pot, plunger coffee, a fire stacked ready to light just to name a few. There was more than adequate choices in... More

Partner and I stayed here for a winter weekend away and loved it. What a thing it is to have a soak in the deep, elegant bath, with the open fire crackling and sun streaming through the windows (we were in he Blue room). Bed was super comfortable: firm but still cosy. Enjoyed the breakfast provisions and reading in the... More

Beautiful old building with old world charm. We stayed in the Zebra room which we loved, all the little touches to the room were really nice ( champagne, wine, port, choccies, and lots of other things... the only thing I didn't like was the timber toilet seat...I couldn't use it because to me it felt like it was very unhygienic so... We had a lovely stay at the manse for our weekend away in daylesford. We had more than enough food for the light brekkie and were impressed with the little touches such as choccies on the bed and a bottle of delicious wine. We enjoyed the jacuzzi which was available for guest use and had it to ourselves which made... More

This place is full of surprises, everything is thought of and at your fingertips if you need it. My son Boston and I had the opportunity of enjoying the hospitality at The Manse. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 25 years and I personally found this establishment went the 'extra mile'. We were instructed on the arrival procedure... More

This place is either a hit or a miss. We stayed in the plum room. Upon arriving out keys were in the box with directions to find our room. Unfortunately I was really thrown off upon entering. The fruit beadhead just didnt make sense. The room was very dark and uninviting. The toilet wierd and the shower not well thought... More

Had a wonderful stay. The room was beautifully laid out, full of more than enough supplies for the weekend. Loved the layout and the ambience, and luckily it cooled down enough at night to light the open fire. The bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend and be back again

For the second time running staying at this elegant mansion has been an absolute delight. The building looks like something passed down from your rich, eccentric grandmother, the claw footed bathtubs and old fashioned toilets providing ample character! This time around, in addition to enjoying wine-infused nights in front of the fire, I took Ally up on her suggestion to... More
