We stayed at the Motel June 30 to July 2 2014. We had always driven buy the resort in past years, however we set our sights to stay there. Reserving a room was easy. The staff was friendly and approachable. We stayed on the main floor and found the rooms to be Quiet, Clean, no rodents or even a fly.... More

My wife and I decided to stay there and were completely disappointed. There was a francophone festival going on and they werent supposed to book non festival participants. We couldnt even park our car near the motel because of a hockey tournament. It was also very noisy. We were told that even though we werent supposed to be booked, and... More

. We decided to stay at this camp site because they advertise wifi. Turns out you only can get service at the office and have to pay 2 dollars for 30 minutes. a small bundle (5 small sticks) of wood cost 10 dollars. And you have to pay for showers. Oh and there is no cell service in the area.... More

My brother got married at the DTR this past weekend and I've got to say my whole family was worried about it due to the bad reviews on here. So I've decided to write my own review. Let me start off by saying that the location is Beautiful.... I was in awe of the scenery. The motel itself is outdated... More

We chose this campground due to the fact that it was the only campground between rocky and sask river crossing with services. We paid $55 per night for a full service campsite plus a $10 reservation fee. The camping sites were incredibly small. They charged $10.50 for a bundle of wood which was about 6 pieces. Some of the staff... More

I have read some of the reviews on here, and feel compelled to write one of my own. We have been holding our family reunion in one of the group sites of the DTR for 10 years. Same weekend, every year. Wendy, Ron and Kelly have been nothing but hospitable to our group, even though I know sometimes reunions can... More

Very nasty place. Motel rooms had mice in them. Resturant had mice. Everything needs to updated. Motel rooms are out of the 1960's. This place is not rustic. This place is OLD and cheap and tacky. Rooms are priced way above what they are worth. Bathrooms are disgusting, filthy. Staff are rude. Not worth the trip and not worth the... More

My family have been going camping at the David Thompson Resort for the last 3 years and the staff is great and my kids always have fun! The kids park is very popular especially the Rocket slide ! The cowboy breakfast at the rustic pub has a great atmosphere! Thanks Ron for the hospitality! We liked our camping site that... More

Do not be fooled. This place is not "rustic" like it says on their web page. It is OLD and in desperate need of a re-vamp or renovation. My wife and I stayed in the motel. It's not very nice. It was extremely hot, no AC, beds were unbearably uncomfortable and we hardly got any sleep due to our discomfort.... More
