Called for a meal on Saturday night there was 6 of us and had booked, it took over 1 1/2 hours and we hadn't had our main course. The quality of the meal when it arrived was good but had lost the will to live never mind eat.I am sure that this may have been a one off as the... More

Rooms are slightly compact given how much it cost but still purposeful. all the mod cons, although wife found it difficult to do her make up in... More

Very clean room and ensuite with gorgeous toiletries. A very comfortable bed with clean white sheets, tasteful decoration, warm colour schemes. The staff were friendly and hard working. Good breakfast and bar meals are good prices.

Booked late it was a matter of no other choice, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Sacarcens Head in Towcester. The young lady on reception was very helpful indeed, the room was a little small, but adequate and clean. The bar area is really nice, mixing between oldie worldie and a little bit contempory. The only downside was the... More

Had our wedding reception at end of May, quite a few mistakes along the way and quite poor communication. But I have to say it all came good on the day and we couldn't have asked for a better venue. Well done Saracens for putting on a great reception.

Actually grew up locally and had drank in the bar many times, but happened to be passing through and stayed on a whim. Very quaint inside and the room was excellent as was breakfast. If you need somewhere to stay in or near Towcester or as a stop off near the M1/A43/M40 i would certainly recommend checking here Value wise... More

Second time I've stayed here on business. Not a bad size hotel, located in the middle of Towcester. Parking might be a problem if hotel and pub both busy. Rooms not a bad size and staff friendly. Must say that breakfast wasn't the best I've had.

The welcome from Kirstie on Reception could not have been better. Our room number 2 was small but adequate, although the towel rail was too hot and we'd be surprised if others had not been burnt! We had dinner with members of our family, the food was good pub grub and the service was friendly and efficient. We were impressed... More

We recently held our wedding reception at The Saracens Head in Towcester. Unfortuately we had some difficulties with previous managers, however, Paul, the new Manager has turned the Saracens around and ensured that we had an amazing day. Everything, including the food, the service and the staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Many of our guests commented on... More
