English hospitality is the stuff of legends, but at Slapton Manor you can experience it for yourself. Situated in the middle of the Northamptonshire countryside, this is not a farm conversion, like so many, this is a real working farm where traditional rural family welcomes are warmly extended to guests. The rooms are tastefully designed, well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. Everywhere... More

We staid there for one night and the owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The room and bathroom were both immaculate and the Continental breakfast was excellent! We will definitely stay there again.

Very large, quiet and comfortable room. It is a unique environment on a working farm and next to a medieval church. Barbara provided a continental breakfast in our room each day. They have more elaborate breakfasts on the weekends. Great bucolic views in every direction. We were doing genealogical research looking for ancestors in nearby Abthorpe. It was a great... More

I absolutely loved this place. Coming from a country as young as Australia, it was quite an awe-inspiring experience to stay in such an old yet beautifully kitted out room in a traditional farmhouse, and have access to the key to the 600 year old church right next door with it's extraordinary and well-preserved frescoes still intact. It IS a... More

We booked two rooms for one night on 10th May 2014. Firstly the positives. Barbara friendly, area pretty (you need a car though). At first glance rooms were nice if a little on the small side. Optional choice of full English breakfast or continental, we choose continental. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, good size wardrobe, peaceful and quiet. On... More

Absolutely lovely place to stay, the two nights we stayed we walked to the New Inn along a footpath and across the fields for some great real ale and equally good food. We had an upstairs room (hayloft) which was very spacious and could accommodate a family of four, with views across the fields and the farmyard area, it also... More

Just returned home after spending an excellent Bank Holiday weekend at Slapton Manor Farm, it was lovely and will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again. Very friendly and helpful people. The twin en-suite room was gorgeous, warm controllable heating, so comfy beds and white crisp linen throughout and large fluffy bath towels. I chose to have... Just came back from a weekend away. We stayed at the Slapton Manor after it had been recommended to us by a friend. They have a website with a couple of photos only but what you get when you get there is out of this world and the people who run it and their dogs are ever so lovely -... More

Just had a long weekend at Slapton Manor and can't recommend it highly enough. Great location, comfortable room and perfect hosts. Perfect for a trip to Silverstone or exploring the Northhants countryside.
