Reservations cant even get it right. made a reservation with pauline over the phone, everywhere else was sold out. gave credit card details and confirmed everything with her. when I arrived no reservation was put down and no rooms left... But she did ring around and an hour later with me standing waiting, very tired, found another hotel for that night... More

One of the best budget hotels I have used for work. Rooms clean. Decent tv. Good heating. Mega breakfast. And maybe the most important thing..... great helpful and friendly staff. Good shops nearby and a chippy. Perfect

We held our annual sporting presentation at the hotel. There were 48 of us in total. We had the whole of the dining room to ourselves and it was a lovely room for the size of our party. We had a three course meal, the main course of which was a carvery, with 3 meats as an option. The food... More

We stayed here for one night after being at Santa pod. The staff were really friendly and rooms were clean. It was handy for the town and other pubs. The breakfast was good and we would stay here again when in the area

We stayed in a comfortable twin room whilst atttending the LAA rally at Sywell. We have stayed here before and once again were happy with our stay. Our only gripe was the small carpark which can hold maybe 14 cars. The decor although dated was clean and pleasant. If you want a plain and featureless hotel this is not for... More

My hubby & I were travelling to a family BBQ in Raunds, so booked 2 nights so 'no drinking & driving' We arrived very late in the evening & were greeted politely & went to our twin room (no. 17) on the ground floor. Adequate size but very drab & 'retro 70's/80's decoration' Nothing like the promotional pictures on their... More

We had a post Christmas group meal at the Columbia Hotel Restaurant on Saturday 18th January 2014. 46 persons were at the meal. The meal was very good. We had a nice vegetable soup starter, served with warm bread rolls, followed by a turkey dinner with all the trimmings. The portions were very good; the meat portion especially was quite... More

A party of 14 of us went for a Christmas dinner at the hotel and had a lovely time. We had our own beautifully decorated room and one large table. The food was wonderful, the staff very helpful and it was a lovely evening. This is the second year running we have been and will be returning. At the end... More

No heating, really smells of mould throughout the hotel and in the rooms. There is cast iron stair leading to the rooms. Windows look like they have never been cleaned. breakfast moldy bread so dread to know what I have eaten. When owner told she couldnt care less. Like the previous review before mine I booked this hotel as I was down there for the F1. The hotel was in a very rough part of town, but we still held out some hope for the hotel. It seemed very dated and if I'm being honest is definitely not worth the money we paid. It was a small room.... More
