Well off the beaten track, but a genuine working farm with black faced Suffolk sheep close to the house. An enjoyable interlude, with Sue at pains to provide a friendly environment. A lounge where you can relax and have a cup of tea. Nice breakfast. The only downside is that, being off the beaten track, it's best to have a... More

Stayed here for just two nights and it was not long enough. Arrived to a lovely welcome and homemade cake with afternoon tea. Delightful lounge for visitors with loads of local info about places to see and walks etc.Lovely fresh rooms with pretty linen. Sue and Lester know good places to eat locally and are really helpful and friendly. Looking... More

My husband and I came from the US to stay in 3 B&B's in the UK. All were lovely, but Greystone Farm was by far the best. As others have posted, the farm is in a beautiful location in the Yorkshire moors. There is a beautiful view just driving in the farm lane. I was expecting minimal accommodations, but found... More

We stayed the second time at the Greystone Farmhouse B&B – this time with our baby girl and the parents-in-law. Again we spend wonderful days in the Yorkshire Dales & Moors and on our little “home base farm”. Greystone’s is one of the best farmhouse B&Bs we’ve ever stayed in the UK and Ireland. We’ve been coddled with excellent breakfasts... More

The farm is tucked away in a beautiful location. The only noise was from Sue & Lester's sheep and cows. The house is a lovely old farmhouse that has been tastefully modernised. The two rooms have their own access and a lounge and dining area. Sue's homemade cakes and bread were delicious, and the breakfasts are a real treat. Lester... More

I stayed here with my children and husband and we had a wonderful stay. We loved the tea and cake on arrival, what a nice touch. Lovely clean rooms. Nice views and surroundings. Breakfast was lovely, good choice, nice fresh local produce as well as plenty of fruit and cereal. Would highly recommend if looking for accommodation in the area.

I didn't know what to expect when I booked Greystone Farm as I couldn't find it on any independent website such as this but I was very pleasantly surprised. The farmhouse is in a quiet, secluded location on the edge of the York Moors National Park and close to the Cleveland Way. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious with comfortable... More
