Having eaten here with friends on a trip to Snettisham last year, I was keen on returning to stay. We were not disappointed, we were shown to our room by a friendly member of reception staff. We stayed in the tree house which was a lovely room at the back of the hotel, as described on the website the rooms... More

Stayed here overnight with a group of friends. The rooms were lovely, well laid out, beautiful decor. only drawback is the steep flight of stairs but the staff were on hand and all were willing to help. Had booked a meal in the restuarant and was greatly impressed. The food was of a very high standard and the service excellent. Cannot... More

Great venue lovely and clean. Food was good if deserts were a little over complicated and not executed to their best. Only let down was the female waiting staff who were too busy gossiping to give good service. The young man who was delivering food and clearing was very different, happy, smiling, polite and very professional.

Thank you for your review. As we said in our recent email to you, we are sorry you were disappointed with the service. Friendly efficient service is something we pride ourselves on at The Rose & Crown. Clearly on this occasion we failed to meet our normally high standards. However I am pleased you enjoyed the food, and hope you... More

Was recommended this place and so glad we went. Delicious food, lovely pub inside with great beer garden and even a nice kids play area to keep them entertained while you enjoy the yummy food and pretty garden. Loved it so much we went the next day too!!!! Great pub in a lovely village.

Been for dinner here numerous times with family and friends. They have a number of dining areas so we are always able to get a table with relative ease. The pub has a wonderful atmosphere - very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are very professional and friendly. The menu is superb with a great selection of local specialists and fresh... More

Recommended by a friend, it's a hidden gem in a side street in Snetisham. From the outside it looks like a small pub as it does when you first walk in but behind the facade is a maze of rooms and a fantastic walled garden. Having ordered the food was delivered quite quickly and was perfectly cooked & presented. The... More

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed, the very friendly service, the comfortable and well thought- out rooms together with wonderful food ( very big portions) made our anniversary trip one to remember. We are already looking forward to returning in the winter and sitting in front of a roaring fire!

I like going to this pub for food as it is consistently good in a relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly, kids of all ages are not an issue. If you are 13+ then I would suggest trying one of the side rooms as these seem quieter.
