Had been told by friends we must stay and eat here - and they were right! This place is such a find, so relaxing, a bit like your own country house retreat, fabulous food, wine and staff. This place is completely unique! more

My husband and I stayed there last weekend and we will be going back! The rooms are beautifully furnished and all original (although be warned, there wasn't a shower in Room 5, only a bath). This place is a real peaceful gem of an Inn (or rather restaurant with rooms). We stayed on one of their weekend deals (£250 for dinnner B&B for 2 people) and it was excellent value. It is in the middle of nowhere with great walks from the doorstep, hardly any traffic on the roads and only a stone's throw from... more
