6 of us stayed over this past weekend with 3 rooms, 1 room per couple. The staff were welcoming and very attentive. Good selection of drinks at the bar and a nice evening food menu selection. My food personally was average but I gather the rest of our group enjoyed theirs. They also offered a good selection of "specials" on... More

We stayed for three nights and found that the staff were very friendly, we enjoyed great food eating in-house each evening, we were offered very good value, and found that all we purchased was very reasonably priced. The Horse and Jockey is very much recommended!

We stayed here for two nights, had room number three at the front of the pub. Very creaky four poster but lovely room, well furnished and clean. The bathroom had no ventilation and needed a bit of work but was clean overall and there was lots of hot water. The breakfasts were good and we had a lovely meal with... More

We stayed here for one night after visiting my brother in Sheffield. Parking was ok. Not quite as many spaces as I was led to believe, but we managed to get a spot at the front of the Pub. After a warm welcome we were led to a family room in the attic, room no 4. A nice room with... More

Stayed here 01/09/15 the room was very nice with a very creaky four poster bed. This added character to the room which was very well furnished to keep with the surroundings. The prices are very good and I would recommend the T-Bone steak to anyone. Lovely breakfast in the morning very freshly cooked. I would definitely visit again if back... More

Country pub with B&B in the small town of Tideswell. Great atmosphere in the pub and dining. Tidy, clean and functional room. Very good traditional food, both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommendable if you seek a good night or two in the Peak district.
