We spent 2nights at the horse and jockey. Staff very pleasant. Bar and dining area very nice. We had room 3 at front of pub - 4 poster with sofa. Nice large room. Bathroom a bit of a squeaze. Had excellent evening meals and also the full English breakfast set you up for the day.

Country pub with B&B in the small town of Tideswell. Great atmosphere in the pub and dining. Tidy, clean and functional room. Very good traditional food, both dinner and breakfast. Highly recommendable if you seek a good night or two in the Peak district.

We stayed here for two nights. Nice clean rooms, good food and very lovely friendly staff. We found all the staff very friendly and helpful. On our first day we went off walking with our Dalmatian Freddie while out another dog bit him which left him with a gash in his paw, which was very swollen by the time we... More

Stayed in Tidswell for the week and found this to be the best pub by far, the food was excellent and great value for money. The pub itself is a very typical English country pub which was great, very friendly, nice beer and free WIFI.

We were visiting our daughter at Ladybower, but had a run around the surrounding area and found Tideswell Village which is a pleasant place to visit especially on a warm summers day. After our walkabouts we had spotted the Horse and Jockey and was tempted to try their Real All promotions, being a conocer of Beer This was a watering... More

Stayed in village for a week and we could be found here most nights. Busy place to eat good mixture of locals and holiday makers. Fantastic service, they even managed to find a table for us to eat 1 night when we had been sat outside with our 2 malamutes. (1 of them isnt always great with other dogs) Four... More

Stayed for one night . Room a good size . Bathroom a bit small but good power shower. Toilet wasn't very clean and had a damp smell , but I think this was from the carpet. Good price with breakfast included ( good cooked b.fast ) . Would stay again.
