Stayed for two nights, the breakfasts were awesome, the choice of cereals surpasses most hotels we have stayed in. We ate in the restaurant the first night and the meal and service were excellent. We ate in the bar the second night and again it was excellent. Staff are friendly and willing to help.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night on the 20th March with the dinner bed and breakfast package. The welcome in reception was very warm and everybody was very helpful. Everyone is very knowledgeable about the area and this really helped. Dinner was very yummy and the choice of drinks in the bar plentiful. There is a lovely... More

Stopped here on the way to a Peak District break. What a beautiful place....a well stocked bar, bright conservatory restaurant, and a menu with plenty of choice. Our food was perfect, obviously freshly cooked to order , and perfect portions. Highly recommended.

We had been given an Amazon Local 3-course meal as a Christmas present. We booked for one night also. We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown to our room. These are cabins in the grounds with covered parking outside the door. Our room was beautifully furnished, spacious and the bathroom clean. The room was lovely and warm and very... More

Just a one night break at this venue, on arrival we were warmly greeted in the bar with log fire. Although in need of a bit of refurbishment we found the place to cater to all our needs. Our dog was also welcome in the bar where we had all our meals. And talking of food...wow, the food here is... More

We booked a 2 night stay through Amazon which included dinner on the first night and breakfast both mornings. After making the booking I noticed another voucher on Amazon for a deal on an evening meal so I telephoned the Dog a d Partridge to ask if we would be able to use the voucher on the second night of... We were staying in the local area and booked in for Sunday lunch after seeing the family friendly reviews on the website. The initial welcome set the tone for our visit - friendly, engaging and warm. The staff were brilliant with our children (ages 1 & 4) and made sure they were the focus. The kids menu and the adult... More

Stayed last Saturday night, with dinner and then breakfast on the Sunday morning. Arrived Saturday around 5-30, nice warm welcome in reception, was then showed our room, in a brick structure at the bottom of the car park. Room nice and warm, double bed, bunk beds, settee, large flat screen TV, and kitchen area with tea/coffee making facility. Pleasant enough,... More

I was really looking forward to my stop here in the Dales. I was greeted by two very friendly faces who showed us to our room outside and down some stairs. The room was a little run down, very cold with the radiator on and the bathroom was clean but again, run down. I didn't particularly want to shower in... More

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, as to the rooms being cold they are self adjusting with thermostats in each room. As to the food, I have checked the ctv and yes your cambert was returned, and fresh was sent out with garnish. Main course we do not use frozen veg, the chips were on the plate, and... More

This was a short break for us and an active dog. It was the first time we had stayed away with the dog and all worries were put to rest the second we walked in. It is private owned and you are treated like friends not numbers. You can park right outside your room which is spacey, the pub had... More
