Perfect place for family day out, lovely walks and scenery. Play area for children (indoor and outdoor). Lovely restaurant / tearoom aswell for a break. A place to go where you don't have to spend loads of money which is a plus, and the children love it.

What a great evening getting up close with these beautiful birds. To see them and feel them and learn so much was really special. Very informative, with knowledgeable and friendly staff, who made sure that everyone got a turn and answered all the questions, along with a few laughs along the way. The birds were magnificant and as you would... More

We have just returned from a four night stay in Oak Lodge. The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed. Ideal for a family with young children up to teenagers and beyond. The lodge was comfortable, perhaps a little tired but with so may families using the lodges this is bound to happen. It meant the grown ups... More

We visited along with 16 others between 2 lodges, Cedar and Chestnut, for a 50th wedding anniversary party. Very impressive, spacious location. Close to amenities in Rosliston. Let down by the lounge sofas, their use over the few years this has been open, shows that they were bottom of the range, so that they have sagged very badly .Rising from... More

My parents booked this lodge for me, my husband, my sister and her partner and my parents for a week together. My husband is a full time wheelchair user so finding somewhere for him to feel comfy and have what he needs is not always easy. This was perfect. The lodge was large, we had four bedrooms, two with a... More

These lodges are great. The disabled access is very important when we stay away and you can't fault it here which is great. There are lovely walks to go on with great amenities. The cabins are very comfortable and cosy. highly recommended
