We visited YHA Nat Forest for a training course. The staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The hostel has a modern rustic feel. There is a bright, open plan communal area which opens on to a great outdoor space. The lunch was fantastic! All fresh, plenty and delicious. The training room was great - bright & airy. Clean, well... More

Stopped over for a quick visit north. This venue is excellent, a purpose built hostel close to Conkers centre, so great for family visits. I wanted to go to NEC for an exhibition and it was about 25 minutes drive away. Best bit is the ambience and friendly staff. The self catering kitchen is well stocked and plenty of space.... More

Stayed for two nights last weekend with a group of friends (14 of us in total). As our youngest member was probably mid 40's and oldest late 60's - hope I haven't offended any of them!!, then the 'Youth' part probably didn't apply, but we had a great time. Clean and comfortable - slept like a log. Food - which... More

Stayed here for 1 night as an impromptu short break during the interminable Feb half term. Great choice :-) super-friendly, helpful staff; very clean; spacious room (for a hostel); great communal area with pool table and table footy. We are veterans of many a YHA trip and this is one of the best. I was wanting to buy an OS... More

Stayed for 3 nights as part of a Bootcamp group - was nervous about a Youth Hostel and imagined old, cold and scary! But I was very pleasantly surprised. Clean, modern, light and comfortable. I was impressed how quickly it felt like home. Basic rooms but more than suitable, after all we were so shattered from all the hard work... More

I wasn't sure what to expect, never having stayed in a youth hostel but this place was really nice. I stayed here as part of a "bootcamp" (yeah I know, lol) and the staff were fantastic, food was good and the rooms were fine. Slightly warm for me but I found out that the first night once of the girls... More

Hi, Thank you very much for your review. we are very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. If you were to visit again you would not necessarily be in a dorm unless you where to pay for that. Most of our customers book a private room ( which is en-suite ) . Hope to see you again soon.... More

The Y.H staff were particularly pleasant and helpful from my arrival to departure in their day to day activities and informative about things to do in the local area, for example, a 1 off printing of a map for myself of a local forest walk. Exceptionally clean and bright environment to stay in. Good quality meals. The value for money... More

We have recently returned from our 3rd visit to this YHA. We stay as a family of 3. It is a modern, clean hostel and within walking distance of Conkers Discovery Centre which is excellent for families. We did everything self catering this time, but have eaten breakfast and evening meals here and found them to be of very good... More
