This is a lovely period property with tastefully decorated rooms and friendly staff. It is more of a large well run B&B than a hotel. The breakfast was nicely done with fresh ingredients, sat round a large table with other guests. Overall it was a good stay but it I felt it was a little overpriced and I agree with... More

This hotel is situated right next to a busy airport, and having read the reviews here we requested one of the quieter rooms. Our request was ignored and we were put in an attic room where we felt we almost had to duck down every time a plane roared overhead. I also asked if my wife could remain in the... More

Fantastic little hotel/BB, room No 3 was beautiful furnished, and the bathroom superb, with shower and wonderful roll top bath. Bathroom had a lovely large magnifying mirror, great for putting on makeup! Free wi fi, which was excellent. Loads of free parking. Staff very very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in... More

I stayed here recently on business and must say it was a very comfortable stay. Nice size room with comfortable double bed, TV, tea/coffee, bottle of water and nice shower. Breakfast was great - cooked in the kitchen overlooking the breakfast table by a very friendly lady with quality juice, sausages, bacon...really set me up for the day ahead. Will... More

Stayed overnight on a business trip. Nothing too much trouble. Rooms very spacious, light and airy. Only downside was the noise from the planes which could be heard as windows open due to warm night. Breakfast was freshly prepared. Lovely fresh fruit salad and porridge. Will definitely be staying again no evening meals are served but they will supply you... More

Kegworth House is a bit tricky to review as it is well run and has many very good points including lovely owners and staff and simply splendid breakfasts, but to be fair to potential guests, be aware that it feels more like a large guest house or European Pension than a typical UK hotel. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable... More

A lovely place to stay within a short distance of Donington Park. On check in we were asked whether we minded pink, and room 2 definitely had a fair amount of pink in it! The room had low beams (watch your head), was furnished very nicely, with a comfortable bed. The en suite had a shower (no bath) and nice... More

Great hotel choice, individually styled rooms instead of a chain-style hotel. Room 1 was spacious, bathroom and shower great, grounds well-kept. Owner was incredibly helpful on check-in and the breakfast choice was extensive. Went for the full English but could happily have chosen anything and been satisfied with the choice. Highly recommend if looking for accommodation in the area.

This is a beautiful Georgian House with stunning gardens. Our room was enormous with a really comfortable bed and antique furniture. The car park is gated so reasonably secure .Breakfast (very good) is round one big table and is cooked in the open plan kitchen.Cannot actually fault anything! Being so close to the airport you do hear the odd plane but... More

What a lovely place to stay - beautiful old house with history and so well looked after. Warm and informative welcome. Furnished with style and evident taste and lots of little extras such as a fab clock in the bathroom ... The garden is pretty and we were very lucky to enjoy some late afternoon sunshine there before the rain... More
