Stayed here for the weekend from the 6th-9th June. Excellent value. Excellent features very well looked after. Really good wether. Views to Stanage Edge stunning. Lovely remote location. Elm staircase is a dream to climb and roof terrace is brilliant for surrounding views Parking good.

I stayed at this amazing property for a week in February 2014, with my family. It is a stunning building, with a turreted roof terrace, spiral staircase, 4 poster bed , great hall dining room and a very modern fully fitted kitchen. The central heating system was great, it kept us all warm, despite the wet stormy weather. Log fires... More

Our family stayed at North Lees for our grandmothers 90th birthday as she loves Jane Eyre (we also visited nearby Haddon Hall). The place and surroundings were stunning and we had an amazing time!! Its quite rural and we arrived quite late in the evening so got lost trying to find it (the instructions we were given weren't that great)... More

This was our second visit to North Lees Hall. four of us, two best friends, hubby and myself, had visited last October and thought it was beautiful then. The colour of Stanage Edge and surrouding countryside made us want to come back again. This we did, this time in Summer. We were lucky and dodged the storms and spent many... More

Stayed here for a long weekend in March with 4 friends. The accommodation was certainly unusual. All rooms were a great size and decorated beautifully. the welcome pack and the abundant supply of logs are lovely touches. The Hall is stunning and all rooms are a great size, however it could have been just a bit cleaner. I know its... More

North Lees hall has been tastefully renovated by the Vivat Trust and our stay there was a magical experience. Our friend rented the property and his partner's anniversary surprise was completed by four of us knocking on the door as the sun went down to announce we were staying with them for a couple of nights. The view from the... More

Dec 2012 - We had a great time at North Lees Hall, only spoiled slightly by the relentless rain! It is a fantastic property and lived up to all our expectations - in fact we were pleasantly surprised to find one more double bedroom than we'd expected so we had a spare! I think this may have been a 2nd... More

Myself and four family members were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of a long weekend break here, we had the run of the whole property and massively enjoyed ourselves, we spent much of our time watching the lambs which surrounded the property, walking the gorgeous countryside and relaxing reading our books either wrapped up warmly on the roof or... North Lees Hall is a 17th century Hall, renovated by the non-profit Vivat Trust. My wife and I stayed in the ground floor appartment for a week last July. The appartment had an very spacious combined sittingroom/bedroom. We slept onder a canopy. The citchen is also spacious and very well equiped (washer, dryer, dishwasher, oven). The bathroom is on the... More
