Last Thursday I attended a 6 course Burns Night supper at which we enjoyed superb Scottish fare, whisky and wine with top class service at a very reasonable price. Nothing was too much for them and the chef even brought the Haggis to the table accompanied by the piper. Brilliant night. We eat here regularly but this was exceptional

I reviewed this hotel on Sept 6 2015, after my brother's 80th birthday party the night before, when a good time was had by all. Because of this great party, my husband and I decided to go back to the hotel for Sunday lunch with said brother and his wife, one week later. I wish we hadn't, then we could... More

Stayed here one night on my way through to the north having been very pleased previously. Not disappointed very clean, tidy and friendly. Fresh coffee at breakfast and freshly cooked. I have stayed in a fair few hotels and this was one of the best b&b style places I have ever stayed, very very recommended.

I stayed here the first week in December so that i could do some hiking nearby. Have to say this is a lovely place to stay with small but really comfy and clean rooms. The weather was pretty bad with strong winds and heavy rain but that didnt matter with the lovely open fire in the first room by the... More

This B&B is set in a beautiful location, with views out over the hills surrounding Derbyshire. It was decorated nicely in Christmas lights, and had a sweet cozy countryside feel about it. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure we had all that we needed, and they supplied me soya milk & a vegan breakfast when I asked in advance.... More

We stayed at this Hotel for one night earlier this Month.Unfortunately, our room could only be described as tiny. ( To be fair we were offered the opportunity to view another Bedroom, it did not seem worth it for one nights stay). With barely sufficient room to get around the bed, the shower ran Hot then Cold. In fact very... More

We stayed in this Peak District hotel for two nights in late November. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The view from our room of open countryside was superb, the bed was very comfortable, and it was very quiet at night. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. We will go again.

Utterly delightful overnight stay here - looking to book again in the future for definite! Have been staying in Travelodges etc. so this was a welcome tonic from faceless four walls. Warmest welcome from the owners and the bar manager, better than expected room - great views, huge comfy bed, fab shower and quiet, even though I was right by... More

Drove past this place last time I was in Glossop and stopped in car park and ended up speaking to the owner about the area and how stunning the scenery is. Promised to stay here next time and was not disappointed. Reasonable prices for the stay which included a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast. Dined in the restaurant first night, and again,... More
