Peakdale Lodge is a very good place to stay for a short break. Although the interior is a little tired it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided is excellent and the whole experience was good. Mr Price was a charming host and answered all our questions about the area with good humour!

Mick and Jill are amazing, friendly, funny people that I was glad to spend time with over the 2 nights I stayed at Peakdale. I recommend anyone to stay with these guys, and in the morning get a proper breakfast cooked for you with a hearty mug of tea ☕ Thanks for everything guys will definitely be missed till the... More

I had to travel due to a family bereavement but Mike and Jill still managed to make my stay feel like a break. I have stYed in five star hitels with full concierge service where you don't get the personal ser ice you do at Peakdale Lodge. There hospitality kindness goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in... More

I must say the people that own this place are the most accommodating people I have ever met, I would rather stay in a place like this than a massive hotel where they are less accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I ever need to come up this end. All the best to the owners, awesome stay xx

Just returned home from peakdale lodge, had a wonderful time, we went for our 10year anniversary and it was better than we could have hoped for, even though it was central to all amenities it was peaceful and quiet, location was lovely, room was clean, spacious and all the little luxuries where there, shampoo, shower gel, towels, tea, coffee, sugar... A cosy and quaint little B&B in central Glossop. Great access to station, shops, pubs and walks in the peaks. Very friendly and attentive staff - family run we think. Rooms standard - decor dated and condition in places needs addressing - fixings, handles, lights etc. Tv in room new and beds comfortable. Breakfast good. Cereals, yoghurt, fruits etc followed... Stayed for two weeks whilst working in Buxton. Welcomed by Mike who has a good sense of humour, tells you where you can eat drink and be merry. The rooms are well proportioned and the place is quiet and restfull. For one week my wife and I were given the briddle suite, includes a sauna...married 47 years ...well it was... More

Stayed here with a friend for one night. A little confusing regarding entrance on arrival but quickly greeted and given info needed. Room was fine-nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities available. Really friendly owners. Very helpful. Cracking breakfast. Great value for money. Would stay again. Many thanks.

When we arrived to check in the gentleman was very welcoming and friendly. He was more than helpful, advising us on where is best to go for something to drink/eat and local shops. Our room was lovely and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. It was in a fantastic location and was situated on the main street in... More

We stayed here as a couple for one night but accidentally booked the twin room! Whilst the accommodation was clean and tidy the room was small. Having seen the double room now it would be better to hire both rooms and bring the kids next time! On the plus side the bathroom we got with the twin room was huge... More
