I have stayed with Lynda several times now and each time is as fabulous as the one before. Everywhere is fantastically clean and tidy. The bed is lovely and comfy, its a real home from home. Nothing is too much trouble and I am made to feel most welcome with a cup of tea and cake each time I arrive.... More

This review is long over-due as I have been going to see Lynda for massage treatments very regularly for some years now, though Lynda makes every visit feel like the first time. Without doubt she is the best therapist I've ever had the luck to find. Going to see Lynda is like visiting an old friend (which she has become),... More

It has been over two years since my last visit and in the past I have stayed alone. This visit I was accompanied by new girlfriend who I wanted to "impress" as this was our first trip away together and it was also valentines weekend. As ever Lynda went the extra mile by arranging a beautiful bouquet of flowers which... More

Friendly, spotless, comfortable, convenient and nothing is too much trouble. This b and b is so welcoming and homely plus everything is done to a high standard. A serene atmosphere that induces relaxation in every way. Would love to come back soon.

We stayed there in May 2013, and were warmly welcomed. The hospitality was excellent and we loved the sound of running water under our bedroom window. Very beautiful gardens! We would definitely stay there again!

From the moment the door is opened you feel welcome. Lynda greeted us by name and made sure both my wife and I were comfortable with tea and homemade fruit cake before she took our bag upstairs while we made our selections for the next days breakfast. We stayed in the double room at the back, and the room was... More

This review needs only to be short. We stayed only one night here (unfortunately), while visiting relatives in Glossop. I echo previous remarks about the quality of the welcome here. We were regaled with tea, coffee - and buns from the oven - on our arrival. We were shown the available rooms and given time to make our choice. All... More

I stayed at the Birds Nest cottage for one night and was suitably impressed from the moment I got there! Upon arrival, I was greeted by Lynda, who couldn't do enough to ensure I was in and settled; from taxis to towels I was well looked after. The room itself was impressive, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and a real homely... More

My first visit, cycling from Rochdale to Glossop to visit a friend. I have an unusual bike being a Recumbent Tricycle and the lady could not have been more obliging when putting my Bike inthe Garden as it had to go in sideways due to the 30" 2 wheels at the front. Lovely welcome cup of tea and friendly cat.... More
