We popped in for a drink on Friday 22/01/16 for a pint. We booked a table for the following night for 7.30 and were promised the table we had been sitting at. Arrived just before 7.30 and the table we were promised was being used. We were told that our table was just being set, so obviously a table hadn't... More

We have just returned from a wonderful couple of nights at The Peak Hotel. The staff are welcoming and friendly, dogs are allowed in both the bar and rooms, the food is lovely and the location is ideal. In addition there is free parking just across the road. We will be back!

Popped in on NY day, they were busy but a table soon opened up. Food was hot, tasty and delivered promptly, service was good, atmosphere was relaxing and all in all, it was just what we needed after walking Lose Hill to Mam Tor!

I cant speak for the Hotel as we only ate here... We called into Castleton late afternoon as we'd spent the day in the area. We walked the length of the village looking for somewhere we fancied and I'm glad we did as we came to the Peak Hotel. We too a look at the menu posted outside, prices looked... More

We visited in the Christmas week, the pub looked very attractive and although it was busy, the food & service were excellent. There were some interesting veggie choices & I loved the chickpea curry. We liked the place so much,we ate there again the following night. I'm now thinking about booking a weekend break there with some friends who would also enjoy... More

Went here on Christmas Eve and have to say everything was spot on from the feel you got to the Brilliant Staff, Although we did not eat here the menu would temp us to return and dine, the Mulled Cider was also Superb, Would highly recommend if you are visiting Castleton.

I wish my title could have been better, but thats my lasting impression. We arrived for tea on Saturday evening after a visit to Father Christmas. We parked in the hotel car park and as the weather was poor decided to walk no further. The welcome was odd, it was clearly busy but the staff we asked for a table... More

Six of us have just spent Friday & Saturday at the Peak Hotel - and everything was fabulous, the rooms were spacious & clean. The food was lovely & the staff were welcoming & gave us great service. It was our annual Christmas gathering & the hotel was dressed beautifully & felt so Christmassy (even though the weather was soooo... More
