Cheshire mews is a lovely, warm comfortable place to have as a base in the beautiful village of castleton, and also to explore Derbyshire. We stayed here for a weekend with our 5 year old who was very happy on his camp bed. Amazing views out of our room too (number 4). Will definitely be coming back.

The... More

Stayed here several times. Ken the Owner is very friendly and helpful. Agree with below reviews the Mews gives you flexibility and comfort. You have access to delightful food in various Castleton pubs and resteraunts. I'd also recommend The Castle for dinner. Easy access walking straight from your front in every direction. One direction is Mam Tor and Loose with... More

We love the flexibility you're allowed, by it being accomodation only. The owner, Ken, is very friendly and helpful, and you're ideally positioned for all the facilities the village has to offer, we usually breakfast at The Peak Inn just down the road. Excellent value accomodation at... More

We've just returned from a 3 night break at the Cheshire Mews. We arrived quiet late and was greeted by the owner Ken who introduced us to our lovely room with a view of Lose Hill and and the Man Tor ridge in the distance. The mews are comfortable and nice place to return after a days walking. Breakfast can... More
