Stayed her with all my family, was a perfect family retreat. The cottages are amazing and have everything. They are well decorated and felt at home there. Some lovely walks nearby and especially good if you have a young one because they have all sorts of animals to look at. My only disappointment was that we came out of season... More

We stayed at Rushop Hall for one night after spending the day walking. The Hall is set in a stunning location surrounded by fabulous views. The host Neil was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We stayed in the Boots room which was beautiful, very comfortable bed, excellent en-suite and more gorgeous views. There was... More

After a long day walking kinder scout we arrived late to Rushop hall where we were met by Jan (after driving past our lodging). Our late arrival was no issue and we received a friendly welcome. We were shown to our room (the Harris room) and given a recommendation for a place to eat (which turned out to be a... More

From the no fuss, polite and helpful check-in to the delicious Derbyshire breakfast, Rushop Hall can only be described as a truly outstanding establishment. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and spacious. The rustic charm of the B&B is in the location and setting, and certainly not in the rooms! :-) The owners were friendly, helpful with... More

Stayed for one night last weekend as we were at the theatre in Buxton. Had trouble getting B&B accommodation in Buxton as everyone wanted 2 nights minimum but glad we found this place. Although it turned out not to be a cheap do (a taxi into Buxton cost £16 and the same return!!), the accommodation was wonderful. In beautiful surroundings... More

Another fab stay , with friends this time - started out in Top Tack and then moved into Irishmans . Jan and Neil couldn't do enough for us as ever . My friend came with her horse and we got back soaking wet one day and freezing - Neil even came in and lit us a roaring fire , just... More

We only stayed the evening however I could have stayed for many more. When we finally found it, we were greeted by the owner, whose name escapes me. She provided a jug of fresh milk so we could have a very welcome cup of tea after a long journey. The Hall retains many of its fixtures and fittings from when... More

Stayed in a new room 'Boots' at the back overlooking the rear stableyard and up to fields. Thought it might be a bit noisy but was very very quiet and peacefull. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious and the breakfasts plentiful and tasty. Very convenient for all attractions in the area.

I stayed here for one night in the room called Harris which comes complete with resident woodpecker in the tree outside (don't worry it's silent!). The owners are lovely and friendly and give the impression they can't do enough for you. The room was very nicely decorated with a lovely shower and gorgeous views. There is a guest sitting room...
