We only stayed the evening however I could have stayed for many more. When we finally found it, we were greeted by the owner, whose name escapes me. She provided a jug of fresh milk so we could have a very welcome cup of tea after a long journey. The Hall retains many of its fixtures and fittings from when... More

Stayed in a new room 'Boots' at the back overlooking the rear stableyard and up to fields. Thought it might be a bit noisy but was very very quiet and peacefull. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious and the breakfasts plentiful and tasty. Very convenient for all attractions in the area.

I stayed here for one night in the room called Harris which comes complete with resident woodpecker in the tree outside (don't worry it's silent!). The owners are lovely and friendly and give the impression they can't do enough for you. The room was very nicely decorated with a lovely shower and gorgeous views. There is a guest sitting room... I recently returned to Rushop Hall for a short weekend of trail running and to make another ascent of Kinder Scout. I can't praise this place highly enough. Neil & Jan are so accommodating, my late arrival on the Friday evening was no problem when giving them plenty of notice. The cottage, Irishman's, is perfect. Detached and quiet with glorious... I have just returned from a one night stay at Rushop Hall and I can only say I wish I could have stayed longer! I was attending a friend's wedding at a nearby village and needed somewhere to stay over. I simply googled for the nearest hotel with a vacancy and came up with Rushop Hall. I did not check... More

Stayed at Rushop Hall for 2 nights (Saturday/Sunday), what a brilliant place to stay! We were greeted upon arrival with fresh milk for the room. The room (Boots) was spacious with a large en-suite (including a huuuuge shower!) Breakfast on both mornings was excellent and we were attended to extremely well. The surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful, the peace... More

Had a wonderful stay here - couldn't fault the friendliness, the room and the evening meal. Slept like a log too. Something very therapeutic to waking up to birdsong and nothing else! The walks are great and scenery wonderful. They even lent us a waterproof coat, as in our haste to pack we left ours at home! It's already on... More

In a beautiful quiet area in the Derbyshire countryside. Very cosy rooms with all facilities. The owners are very helpful and friendly creating a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Breakfasts are individually prepared and delicious. Ideal place to visit all Derbyshires attractions.
