I stayed here with my husband on our wedding night. We ordered a suite and were slightly dissapointed with the room. The furniture is very dated and looks as though it has been there over 20 years. The room was big but the reception on both tv's was very poor so it didn't make for a very luxurious experience. Being... more

Booked in via a website following decent reviews. Arrived late and were told that we were booked into a courtyard room - not in the main hotel. Room consisted of twin beds which can only be described as camp beds, very dirty carpet & a musty smell. Room in desperate need of a renovation & a rip off at £120.... more

We've now stayed twice at the Donington Manor Hotel and have enjoyed superb & very friendly service on both occasions. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The food was excellent on both occasions and their breakfasts are well worth getting up for:-) The Hotel is very close to East Midlands Airport and we learned that they now have... more

First impressions were good and the staff were friendly. I was originally worried about car park security as it is on the high street but it is well contained with cameras and a night porter. After checking in we went up to our room which was a reasonable size but not what i would say is a 'superior room'. The... more

We booked the restaurant at this hotel for a small family celebration. Although we had arrived at the time stated for our booking, it was some time before we were called in to eat. Our meal took a long time to come - each course took ages. As usual there was only one choice of vegetarian food. The vegetable portions... more

We stayed at this hotel for one night on their park and stay arrangement, which was excellent value. We were flying from East Midlands airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very well decorated. We had to get up at 04:00am for our flight and the all night bus stopped just over the road from the... more

Stopped at the hotel for 1 night to go to JT gig. The rooms were very spacious, clean & traditional. The staff were fantastic, especially the ladies at Breakfast, which was perfect. Had a really enjoyable stay & will be going back. more

I stayed in the hotel a few times in 2007, and always enjoyed my stays. The hotel is set in Castle Donington, a ten minutes drive from East Midlands airport, and a little further from Derby. The hotel has a very traditional feel to it, and the rooms are pleasant and those that I stayed in are large and well... more

I stayed at this hotel on my own in May 07. It was mostly people alone. The rooms were nice, food was lovely but maybe a bit pricey (£18 for 1 course!). Breakfast was really nice, full english with cearal and juice. The staff were friendly. The area was very quiet and not far from the race track! Overall I... more

Two things to remember about this hotel. 1. This is a very nice hotel if you stay in the right rooms 2. The breakfast is fantastic We origninally booked a twin superior over the web, but were a little dissapointed when we got there to find the room was tiny and in an annexe in "the courtyard". Luckily for us... more
