Stayed here for four nights in Jan 2015. Had a works training course at the local cement works, so was put here by the firm. Dragged the wife with me, had to pay the difference though. Must say was mighty impressed, lovely welcome, roaring fire and fine beer and wine. Has about five-six main rooms, the tables and chairs are... More

Excellent breakfast (great full English) and a very comfortable beds (3 singles in room 6). Very good bathroom and shower. The TV was a modern flat screen Samsung. Tea & coffee with fresh milk in the room - plus cookies! Good sized room. Slight musty smell near the door. Good value.

Stayed for a weekend and will definitely be back! Great old fashioned pub serving a good range of well kept beers and tasty and generous portions of traditional English food. No chance of going hungry here as the portions are substantial but you will want to finish it all as it is so good. Staff very good and friendly. The... More

My wife and I and two friends stayed here for two nights 23/24 November. The hotel was very clean and the rooms also were very good. We were on a bed and breakfast basis but decided to eat our evening meals there also. The food was standard pub food but very good and the portions were on the large side.... More

Just had a fair meal at Yorkshire Bridge. Nothing spectacular. Asked to for the sweet menu and was told abruptly by the grumpy barman that the kitchen had closed and that there were plenty of notices around the pub saying this. Didn't see any though!! Quite expensive, not particularly good service. Staff obviously wanting to get you fed and out,... More

We called here for a lunch time meal and had no problem with the food. The portion sizes were large and the food was tasty and well presented. We then decided to have a dessert but when I went to the bar to order the barman told me the kitchen had closed. I expressed surprise at this as no one... More

Our third stay here - did not disappoint. We stayed in room 14 (ground floor), quiet room with access straight to car park. Very roomy, double bed and 1 single. Room very clean and serviced daily. Food was fabulous as always, quality food at a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly, especially Ann?? who booked us in, she was a... More

After promising ourselves a two night stay for many years, my wife and I eventually got around to booking and staying at The Yorkshire Bridge. The hotel is well placed for visiting Lady Bower Reservoirs and walking up win Hill to see the spectacular views. Our bedroom was, compact but comfortable, with a lovely new bathroom. The bar area of... More
