We booked the Yorkshire Bridge Inn due to its location. We wanted warm, friendly accommodation in close proximity to great walks. This was definitely the right place to have choosen. As two couples traveling with our dogs, it couldn't have been more perfect. We booked the 'dog-friendly' rooms which have very convienent doors straight outside and come all set with... More

A last minute visit to the Peak District with no accommodation booked lead us down the Snake Pass and the discovery of a great Inn! Highly recommend this Inn for the spectacular views, walks but most of all the exceptionally high standard of customer service, food and accommodation! Just ensure you pre-book to avoid disappointment as they seem to be... More

Stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. The room was very well equipped and the staff were very helpful, lending us a map and guide to the area. Lovely scenery and walks from the door mean you don't have to drive once you're there.

Visited here on Valentines Day evening, managed to get a table no problem. Service was very good, ordered a Chilli Con Carne and a Chicken and chips, meals both priced around £9 each. Food came out in good time, and very large portions, I’d go small if there is an option to! Unfortunately gravy was added to my meal without... More

The Yorkshire Bridge Inn next to Derwent Water is a large inn with plenty of tables for lunch and dinner. We ordered Steak and Kidney Pie, Fish and Roast Chicken for the three of us, which was served promptly at our table. All three meals were hot and tasty. The range of beers and other drinks was comprehensive. Well worth... More

Stayed here for four nights in Jan 2015. Had a works training course at the local cement works, so was put here by the firm. Dragged the wife with me, had to pay the difference though. Must say was mighty impressed, lovely welcome, roaring fire and fine beer and wine. Has about five-six main rooms, the tables and chairs are... More

Excellent breakfast (great full English) and a very comfortable beds (3 singles in room 6). Very good bathroom and shower. The TV was a modern flat screen Samsung. Tea & coffee with fresh milk in the room - plus cookies! Good sized room. Slight musty smell near the door. Good value.

Stayed for a weekend and will definitely be back! Great old fashioned pub serving a good range of well kept beers and tasty and generous portions of traditional English food. No chance of going hungry here as the portions are substantial but you will want to finish it all as it is so good. Staff very good and friendly. The... More

My wife and I and two friends stayed here for two nights 23/24 November. The hotel was very clean and the rooms also were very good. We were on a bed and breakfast basis but decided to eat our evening meals there also. The food was standard pub food but very good and the portions were on the large side.... More
