After a great stay with our walking group last year. We booked again this year and we were not disappointed. The rooms our group had have been redecorated and with new furniture are now even better. The food is of a very high standard with plenty of choice and it is well presented. The breakfast is a treat with a... More

We have just visited the Yorkshire bridge inn for the third time & it is still achieving the high standards that make us keep coming back. We stayed for two nights in room 10 which was a nice room & we thought the fresh milk & really delicious ginger cookies were a nice touch. I'm afraid neither of us have... More

We stayed here as a Bank Holiday treat minus the child! Had to telephone the hotel as on line said we could only book for a minimum of 3 nights which would have lost our interest instantly. We went for a long bike ride around Derwent before checking in. This is where the hotel sells itself. It's in a beautiful... More

First time we have stayed here but were recommended by friends. A warm welcome & quickly shown to our room which was of a very high standard. The lovely choice at breakfast set you up for the day and was very relaxing. It is an ideal base for walking and places of interest. In the evening the home cooked food... More

We cannot recommend the Yorkshire Bridge Inn highly enough, This is our 3rd time we have come back as we love the Peak walks, Reservoir, and the trails on the bikes, Monsal trail, Tissington and High Peak trails. The inn is just spot on, local beer Bombs away is just lovely, food and service is 2nd to none..Rooms are perfect,... More

We have eaten here many times over the last few years. The staff are friendly and the Pub is lovely. There is an excellent choice of hand pulled ale. As a vegetarian I always liked it here as they had a large choice of meals , however recently I notice that this has been reduced which is a shame. That... More

We stayed here a couple of nights midweek and were bit disappointed. The food and service were spot on and the location is ideal for walking round the dams and beautiful scenery. The only gripe I have is that the room we stayed in could do with some soundproofing, not very good to be woken in the night to the... More

Me and my husband stayed here for a few days after our wedding. It was absolutely lovely! The first thing to comment on was the fact that the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on!! Which is always a good start. The room was well equipped with lovely wooden furniture, a tv with freeview, and nice heavy... More

This hotel just keeps improving. The size of the meals has always been a feature of the hotels menu, but now it is possible enjoy the food without feeling bloated by choosing the smaller versions ( the smaller potions are also a smaller price). The tea and coffee in the bedrooms benefit from fresh milk kept in small thermos flasks... More
