Stayed here for 2 nights as an impromptu weekend getaway, and it couldn't have been better! The owner, Frances, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, even offering to iron my shirt for me before a meal out! The room was comfortable and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and a great view of the nearby fields. The missus loved... More

Our visit was greatly enhanced by the weather which was warm, a welcoming drink on the decking with a great view of the countryside started our stay followed by a cycle ride on the Trail up to Parsley Hay and back, a meal in a local pub, a walk up to Thorpe Pastures with a wonderful all round view of... We found Station House B&B whilst browsing Trip Advisor and so glad we decided to book. From the moment we arrived, it couldn't have been more perfect! The owners are delightful and very helpful, just lovely people. The B&B is spotless, we had the back room which has lovely views ... breakfast DELICIOUS!! We came here for our anniversary weekend;... The comments from the other 'excellent' reviews are absolutely correct; very comfortable, very clean and very peaceful, Very good cooked breakfast. Frances also recommended a good local pub for our evening meal. Altogether it helped to make a very good short break in Ashbourne

We stayed for one night at the Station House B & B with our friends. We booked both rooms which were of a very high standard, with added extras such as fresh milk on arrival. The extremely clean ensuite shower room had a container with cotton wool/buds & nail file which was a very nice touch to, together with toiletries.... More

I stayed at The Station House B&B whilst visiting family who live in Ashbourne. I booked one of the rooms, and my parents stayed in the other. We liked the fact that it is a small B&B. The location is great with views across the peaceful countryside. It is just a minute's walk from the Tissington Trail so is perfect... More

We had a one night stay here for a wedding at the local Alstonefield Manor - it was absolutely perfect for this. Very welcoming hosts, lovely room with comfortable bed, modern bathroom, tea/coffee/bottled water in the room, and amazing breakfast that sorted out a potentially terrible hangover. Highly recommended.

We only stayed for 1 night but it was very peaceful and had beautiful views. The owners are lovely and very friendly. We went to a wedding and got back quite late but it wasn't a problem as the B&B has a separate entrance for guests. I especially liked the soft bed linen, the bathroom is small and tastefully done.... More

We stayed 1 night as we were cycling along the Tissington Trail. This is one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Super comfortable bed with fresh white bedding, a beautiful view of the fields behind from our bedroom window and a stones throw from the Trail, it really did tick all the boxes. Now onto the breakfast, we... More

What a treat, staying in this cosy bnb. On the outskirts of Thorpe and right next to Tissington trail, Frances and Maurice looked after us and went out of their way to welcome us in to their home. Both the rooms are on the first floor and we were lucky to be the only ones in for the weekend and... More
