I booked The Station Hotel at short notice, as a base for an Alton Towers visit with my family. We had planned to drive home the same day, but I'm really glad that we didn't The hotel itself is full of Victorian charm. The bedroom was very large, with a great shower and bathroom. Not to mention a really great... More

Booked one day at the StationHotel but on arrival found we had been upgraded. Such was the welcome and the standard of the room we immediately booked another night. The room we had, had a four poster bed ( very comfortable) and a bath and shower combined. The furniture through out the hotel follows the pattern of the bed, verging... More

We booked the station hotel as a place to stop when visiting alton towers. About 15 mins from the park and easy to reach. Lady at reception very friendly and told us all we needed to know. We stayed in one of their bungalows to sleep 5. It had all we needed, was comfy, quiet and had free secured parking.... More

We stayed at The Station Hotel last week for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed and the manager/owner David was very friendly and professional. As we were with our 11 year old son we had the four poster room and there was plenty of space even with the extra single bed in the room.... More

We found this hotel by chance, looking for an overnight stay on our return home from Bedfordshire. At first sight, the hotel looked rather old fashioned, but we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful interior, capturing the feeling of a bygone age yet modern in its facilities and friendliness of the staff. Even more surprising was the excellent restaurant with... More

I stayed here with my partner as we had a works party to attend at the Osmaston Marquee. This was the only half decent place to stay I could find in Ashbourne and we paid £90 for the night b&b. Although we liked the hotel, I wouldn't stay here again and thought the price was on the high side. upon... More
