Great value for what you get, can hear every noise in the hotel, but bed is very comfortable and after a busy day slept well, was woke up earlier then I would have liked due to the noise. Very family friendly room for babies, nothing on the floors which cannot be easily moved so babies can roam without worry,

Clean and typical travel lodge. Ideal for Alton Towers. Pub in car park is fantastic and great value for money. If you want a cheap hotel with a good pub to have a meal then look no further! Alton Towers around 15 mins up road and if you need anything Marks and Spencer round corner and Sainsburys 2 mins further... More

Sadly staying here was not pleasant, all of the beds had springs sticking out and were noisy and because there was a roller blind the light came in. Kids struggled especially with the amount of bugs (including dead ones) in various places in the room. It needs updating and cleaning staff need to do the basics. Staff at reception were... More

Perfect place to stay before a trip to Alton Towers, about 20 mins down the road, nice pub next door, friendly staff, quiet location, plenty of free parking and an M&S just round the corner if you need a few odds & sods :)

This is a nice hotel, one of the better Travelodges I have stayed in. I bought 3 x family rooms and all of them were as expected. The room had the three beds made up already (1 x double and 2 x singles) which were just what we needed. The rooms were basic in decoration but clean. Bed sheets and... More

Very recently stayed here for 2 nights with friends for a wedding. Our room was basic but was spacious and had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we received clean towels our second morning. It is located next to a very nice pub which is good for going to dinner without needing to drive. Very happy... More

Great location for our trip to Alton Towers. Rooms were very basic, and our mattress was uncomfortable - hopefully the forthcoming refurbishments will improve this. Staff were helpful and friendly - they pointed us in the direction of places to find breakfast as the pub on site doesn't serve breakfast, which is a pity and a missed opportunity, especially in... I stayed here with a group of friends for two nights whilst visiting alton towers. The rooms were all clean and well presented in the new referb style. Close to pub which we went to for tea but they don't do breakfast (except weekends?). Negatives - the room was warm but where hasn't been the last month or so? Also... More

We arrived shortly after 6pm on our day of check in to go to the 2nd floor and enter a very hot room - the sun was setting on our side of the hotel and from what I remember the window was barely open. We opened the window as far as it could go (they have safety chords on them... More

Stayed here for three nights as an inexpensive option for our visit to Alton Towers and the Peak District. We wasn't expecting anything special at all as the cost was so low for the 3 nights. But we were extremely impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and friendly welcome we received. Had such a good nights sleep. Also convenient that it... More
