The travelodge was clean and just as you would expect from a travelodge. However we were woken up on both nights (far too early) by noise coming from what seemed like above us - so our quality of sleep wasn't great.

Located just outside the Derbyshire Peak District town of Ashbourne, is a modern building with good sound insulation. The Stepping Stone pub & restaurant is right next door so no need to drive out for dinner. Breakfast is available from 8am at M & S in a retail park one minute drive away. Another supermarket is being constructed opposite so... More

Have just returned from a 3 night stay with my husband at Ashbourne. It was absolutely brilliant. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble, The room was their new design, and was large and airy. The linen was very white as were the towels. The bed was the new Dreamer range and very comfortable.. Couldn't wish for anything... More

It was clean and sufficient for our needs for the night. There are a few shops nearby which was handy. We went quad biking at Wild Park Derbyshire which was excellent! Also ideal for Alton towers (shut when we visited) and Carsington Water.

Very basic hotel with very little close to it, the pub next door is ok but not very good value. No hot breakfast on site,so had it at Alton Towers. If visiting area again will look at different options.

Lovely, very clean and comfortable hotel with a pub serving good meals within a few yards. Girl on reception very helpful. Beautiful area. Sat nav couldn't find it which is a common occurence, apparently.

Stayed here before a weekend at Alton towers, lovely hotel and really comfortable. The restaurant/pub next door is fantastic for evening meal, however disappointing that there is no where to get breakfast. Would definetly stay again as was far better that the next night we had booked at Splash Landings Hotel in Alton Towers.

We stayed here for two nights as we were going to Alton Towers, the place was in an ideal location for Alton Towers with only a 15 minute drive. The pub next door was lovely. The staff at the Travelodge were really helpful and friendly and the hotel was really clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - thank you all

We had a family room so the teenagers were each on temporary beds - everyone slept well and comfortably. Parking is very good here and you are only a few minutes drive from the centre of town. The downside is that the next door pub doesn't open for breakfast.

Stayed for 1 night as was going to Alton towers following day. The room was fine and it was very quiet. Loads of car parking and no cost. Pub across the road was really nice and very cheap too. Only took 15 mins to get to Alton towers from here
