Ideal location for Alton Towers,it's about 20 mins away. There is a pub next door which serves lovely food & fairly decent prices. Hotel is in a quiet area so no noise from outside. Will def stay again.

This is a perfect cheap place to stay if you are going to Alton towers and drive! Literally takes 15mins and keeps the overall cost down! The hotel is very basic ( but you get what you pay for) so can't complain! The only issue that I had was when trying to confirm a booking with the hotel prior to... More

Stayed here overnight whilst visiting for the Shrovetide Football event. We found the staff to be friendly, efficient and courteous. The room was clean, comfortable and warm. It is only a 10 minute pleasant walk into town . There is a pub/restaurant next door and a small retail park a couple of minutes away with a Marks and Spencers food... More

The price, the staff, the location...all very good and hassle free. We tried checking in early, but very politely advised not to because of the charge. When we arrived quite late, it was all very simple. Will stay here again when in Ashbourne

Stayed here for 3 nights over half term. On the second night, we arrived back to our room to find the door had been left ajar. This was very disconcerting as at first it appeared that our room had perhaps been broken into and being on the second floor well way from reception we felt rather unsafe. However once we... More

Thank you for your feedback MummyKay. Your security and safety is of utmost importance to us and our housekeeping staff are expected to ensure that all rooms are locked during their regular cleaning routine so it is truly regrettable to learn of the problems you have raised. We would also have expected them to fully replenish and service your room... More

I have stayed at the Ashbourne Travelodge before, but am sorry to say that it has really gone downhill in the last couple of years. Even at a bargain saver rate, I would seriously reconsider before using this hotel, it is tired and dirty. From first entering the reception to be greeted with a note saying 'back in a few... More

...you apparently do get what you pay for. We checked in for 2 nights during half term and the receptionist could not have been less interested if she'd tried. There is no restaurant on site to offer breakfast, but there are options within ashbourne. The room was at best functional, although it would be equally fair to describe it as... More

We are sorry to learn of your poor experience at our Ashbourne Hotel MB203. We would also expect our mattresses to be in a great comfortable condition so we are sorry to... More

We used this travelodge for one night stay as we was going to alton towers for the weekend. It isn't far from alton towers which was good. The bed was uncomfy but the room was clean. Checking in was very quick and you don't have to pay to park in the car park. We took our own breakfasts as they... More
