This B and B was fine for a place to rest our heads but not much more. The toilet was unclean and the place could have done with a de-clutter. The walls were thin but the bed/room was comfortable enough.

Stayed for one night, as we were at a family get together near by. Great location, right in the middle of Ashbourne. A lovely big room, a very comfy bed and although on a road, not noisy. A lovely English breakfast, with veggie quorn sausages. What more could you ask.

We stayed with friends as we were going to a wedding close by. In a great position 500 yards from the southern end of the Tissington trail, also only a few minutes walk to the centre of Ashbourne, with loads of pubs. The B&B is on the main road and very welcoming, the rooms are cosy and spotlessly clean as... More

Stayed at this lovely B&B whilst on a visit to Alton Towers with my adult daughter. Found the location ideal, in the small town of Ashbourne, within easy walking distance to various bars and restaurants. Our room was at the front of the house in two adjoining/connecting rooms which was perfect for us. The room was very clean and comfortable,... More

We stayed one night as part of a midweek break and for this the Compton House B&B was perfect. The bedroom was a little dated, yet oddly the bathroom was lovely and very modern so I can think that they are doing the place up one room at a time. We were in a back bedroom which faced the Sainsbury's... More

We planned on visiting the Peak District for a couple of days and this B&B was ideally located in Ashbourne. There is free secure parking around the back of the house (once you have found it, you need to enter via the Sainsbury arch way!) The room ( room 5, mind your head on the way in due to the... More

Just perfect every single time we come and stopped here. Members of staff very nice and pleasant and nothing is too much for them. Breakfast was absolutely amazing good choices and quality. Overall location is spot on, as it is in the middle of village. Would definitely recommend! :)
