Lovely room, big and spotless. The building is interesting with the level of decoration and facilities being 5* quality throughout. Hosts where friendly and helpful and Breakfast was great too. Couldn't fault anything. Would highly recommend.

The best B & B we've stayed in by far. Spacious room, extremely clean, comfortable beds and a superb cooked breakfast (as well as all sorts of other delights on offer). Home is just gorgeous, wish we had have stayed longer! Fantastic meal at The Royal Oak just down the road.

It was dark when we arrived, so we didn't see the unusual farmhouse design until the following day. We had a very warm welcome from Ian & Yvonne and were shown to our room with a good explanation of the facilities. What can you say about the room, it would put most 5* hotels to shame, very, very tastefully done.... More

Stayed for one night with the family recently and found this charming B+B more than a match for most hotels. The bedroom and in fact the whole place was spotless. Bedroom was both larger than offered in most hotels and better spec. Breakfast was full cooked English using quality ingredients with fresh fruit salad (obviously hand prepared) and cereals also... We stayed in a lovely room in a 'quirky' bed and breakfast - in a quiet spot near Wigton. We were made to feel welcome and would most definitely stay again - the hostess was lovely and served a first class breakfast

Just returned home after spending the week-end here at this wonderful place. Thank you to Lorraine and Ian for a fantastic stay at this superb quirky B&B. I can only reiterate what other people have written. Just wonderful. We will be back.

The most quirky place we have ever stayed! Full of character and charm and comfortable and very well-equipped. A very warm welcome and generous breakfast - nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed for two wonderful nights, the hosts were more than friendly and charming. The farm house is quirky by design and has been lovingly and tastefully restored. The room we had has lots of character but without being imposing. The bed and bedding is without doubt the most comfortable I have ever slept in (including many 5 star luxury... More

The stunning rooms looked like new... More
