Stayed for a long weekend with my boyfriend. The gardens of the property were beautiful and the view from the room was lovely. The rooms were very clean and had everything you need. The owner was very nice and her breakfast was to die for! It's quite a walk from the town of Keswick but on a warm summers evening... More

My husband and I spent a few days in the lakes recently. Our plan was to stay at a different B&B each night so we could travel around. We stayed at Dancing Beck on our third night and that was is it, we were completely sold!! It is in the most idyllic setting the views from the bedrooms were stunning.... More

What a find, we had 3 nights last week in this wonderful b&b. Lyn the host is so friendly and helpful & the breakfast was outstanding. We were in room 1 with fantastic views over the fells. Room was very clean, king size bed & linen so comfortable. Ensuite finished to a high standard. Lots of wildlife in the garden.... More

Having done some research as to where to stay in the Lake District we choose this place. It is located 2-3 miles outside of Keswick. It is quite isolated but the views are truly stunning. Our host was very hospitable, the room was very comfortable. One thing that I really appreciated was the isolation, away from all the tourist centres.... More

My wife and I stopped for 2 nights at Dancing Beck and would have loved to have stopped longer. It is really a boutique hotel but without the usual mark up in price that usually accompanies that tag. It offers fantastic value for money given the quality of the accommodation and its fabulous setting, below Skiddaw and overlooking the Bassenthwaite... More

I did my research before I booked here and it payed off... Just had a wonderful 3 nights last week with my teenage daughter in bedroom 3. It has a great veiw over the back garden... I could have sat for hours and watched the birds, squirrels and mice. The other 2 bedrooms are equally wonderful... The bed linen was... More

We spent four nights at this lovely B&B about a five minute drive out of Keswick. Our room was clean and spacious, very well appointed, comfortable, and overlooked a lovely back garden where red squirrels, woodpeckers, finches and a family of voles could be observed. The bathroom was fabulous. The dining room was light and airy, with sweeping country views... More

Dancing Beck is an amazing place to stay while exploring the Lakes. The gardens that Lyn keeps are really wonderful with an old croquet lawn - the perfect English garden! From the house (an old Victorian school) you can explore the surrounding area easily with forests around for walking and Keswick within 5 mins drive. The rooms are very clean... More

What a find this place is, didn't even look at any others after reading the reviews. Just a few minutes drive from Keswick & only a few hundred yards up a narrow road from the main road. If you want peace & quiet you've found it but still nicely located for trips into the main towns, it is an ideal... More

Me my husband and the dog stayed here 10th to 12th. It's a cute place with a great breakfast. There are 3 rooms of which they all have their best features.... However we stayed in room 3 with views of the gardens and squirrels and with a full bathroom. It's out of main town Keswick in a very peaceful location... More
