Went for a meal as we staying in a cottage in the village. Warm reception and good food. Seating area filled with interesting photos and furniture. Good beers. Menu was extensive and used all available local produce.

Had a great lunch here. Everything a modern gastro pub should be. We sat outside on a Monday lunchtime and watched the world go by, eating some delicious food. Great choice of everything and they obviously care about what they do here. Nice atmosphere would recommend. Excellent!

As I say what a find. We were just looking for somewhere in the area and chose the Farmers Arms alomost at random and we were definately not disapointed. The service is second to none, nothing too much trouble. The place it's self if is

Went to eat here on recommendation from our Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Greeting by cheer full land lady who said yes they would accommodate us with a table (I would recommend booking) as very popular. Varied menu must be something to suit everyone. Portions are a very good size, beautifully presented and very well cooked. No room for a sweet... More

My room (5) was comfortable, clean and adequately sized; and with a good sized bath (tick :). Breakfast is one of the best I've had though rather too many flies around. Dinner is good and more than sufficient though, on both occasions I sampled, overcooked (half roast duck even served with a steak knife).

This is a lovely country pub with a great menu and friendly, efficient staff. We stay in the area several times a year but have not visited this pub for some time. After a fantastic evening meal, I'm sure we will be visiting again very soon! Superb!

But make sure you book! They are always busy, but so well organised and the service is always friendly and efficient. Love the interesting specials. Wine is very reasonably priced and food is well cooked and presented. Could have done with a longer time between courses, but that's the only small criticism I have. We love going here when we...
