Although I spent a lot of my childhood in the lakes, I'd never been to Staveley before - and what can I say? The area is lovely, it sits just outside of the now tourist heavy towns of Windermere, and is surrounded by fantastic walks and some great pubs. Anne and Tony were incredibly welcoming. We stayed for three nights... More

Li'le Hullets is set in the wonderfully picturesque village of Staveley, surrounded by views a-plenty and peaks that just make you want to walk on them. And if you are a real ale fan, there is also of course the Hawkshead Brewery and beer hall with its fantastic beer and food. The B&B itself is only a short (5-10 min)... More

We stayed with Anne and Tony for a few days while visiting family and cycling around the Lake District. Anne went out of her way to make us feel welcome, sorting safe storage for our bikes and even washing our kit and providing a very early breakfast when we wanted a long day on the bikes. We really couldn't have... More

We have stayed here on several occasions and each time Anne and Tony extended a warm and welcoming hospitality. The room was well equipped, warm and cosy, as well as being spotless. Breakfast was delicious and attention to detail was excellent, Anne always ensures dietary requirements are met. Location is excellent for walks in Staveley and the surrounding area, as... More

Was made very welcome by Anne and Tony. Everything clean, comfortable and anything needed was there. Excellent night sleep. Breakfast was superb, freshly cook and excellent quality. Everything that could possibly be wanted was on the table. Will definitely return.

We stayed in this property whilst attending a wedding at the Hawkeshead Brewery. It was suitably situated with just a 10 minute walk and at a reasonable price. Very nice B and B in a traditional farmhouse style. Attic room was a little hard to get to, but we were warned about this on booking. Lovely, friendly hosts and breakfast... More

The food was delicious, the hospitality was warm and friendly, the room was spotless ... What more can we say? If you are looking for the best B and B in Staveley, we would highly recommend Li'le Hullets. There are also three very good pubs all within a short walk of Li'le Hullets. Anne and Tony were both very gracious... More

Just spent a couple of nights here with some friends on a walking break. Excellent choice! Comfortable rooms, top breakfast (both vegetarian and regular) and a very friendly welcome. What's not to like!
