Arrival :- On a fresh January Monday, arrived early at St Bees, quiet and small town, nestled in Cumbria, the Bed & Breakfast was a 2min hop from the railway station on Main St. The building was very pleasant from the outside, entrance via the main front door leads into a small corridor, the rooms on the ground floor on... Thank you for your warm welcome. Had a lovely stay, very clean and warm rooms. We stayed in the annexe attached to the building "The Loft". The room and kitchen area had everything we needed and had a lovely breakfast this morning with plenty of choice. Good location in the middle of the village.. Thank YOu

Very helpful hosts; fantastic breakfast; lovely room with renovated bathroom and kitchen which proved extremely useful when all the village pubs were fully booked for dinner when we arrived. Thank you Carole.

This establishment seems to have rooms all over the place but manages to cater for mostly Coast to Coast walkers very well. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent - what more does one need.

We were fortunate to have booked our first night of our Coast to Coast walk at the Stonehouse Farm in St. Bees. We were in the upstairs loft room, a very spacious room indeed, with cooking facilities had we been staying for longer. As it was the breakfast we were served was very nice, our first Full English Breakfast, and... More

We were well looked after here before we started the Coast to Coast and at the end (when the owners gave us the extra large apartment to relax in). The cooked breakfasts are excellent and were only rivalled by Park House in Ingleby Cross. It is also a good place to leave your car at two quid a day.

The B and B is located handy to the railway station, and close to pubs for meals. For those doing the coast to coast walk, it's about 10 minutes from the start. The rooms are clean and tidy, good breakfast and friendly service. Would recommend

This was the first of 15 b&b's on our coast to coast walk. Very close to the station and a selection of pubs. Whilst the welcome was a little low key our rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. Low ceilings / beams provided charm - and a lump on the head! An excellent breakfast set us up for our... More

The b&b is very conveniently placed near to the train station. The rooms are clean , comfortable and everything you could need. The breakfast was very nice with a varied selection. The location is approx half a mile from the beach and the start of the walk.

This B&B is in a great location for the coast to coast walker. Arriving at the station it was only a short walk away. Room was comfortable and had everything there that you need. Everything was clear at the B&B, breakfast was good and set me well on the way for my walk.
