We booked a last minute holiday to the lakes and St Bees was a lovely location. We stayed in a sandpiper caravan on the beachcomber site near the hotel. The caravan was clean and modern with plenty room. The kids enjoyed the beach and the playground. Only downside, (if you have a teenager) was no WiFi apart from the hotel... More

We have stayed at Seacote campsite both in tents and more recently in a campervan,While the pitch was level with a good sea view the overall impression was that the site was neglected.Toilets were dirty and there was no evidence of them having been cleaned in the four days we stayed there. One of the two gents toilets had no paper... The park has passed it's sell by date . We stayed for two nights , the pitch was good with sea views . The park was tired, a lot of the static vans were old and in poor condition . The toilet block needed a very good clean , I am afraid its down to the people who stay there... More

St Bees bay is an attractive beach with sand and rock pools and a coastal walk. Unfortunately the beach and sea was full of poisonous jellyfish which was a disappointment to the kids. The village is pretty with several nice pubs. The location of the caravan park is great for the beach and the West Lake District. However it's located... More

I was very disappointed to find the staff of this park unhelpful to the plight of my family. On the evening of the first day of our holiday, a family bereavement literally forced us to pack up our caravan the very next morning and return the 180 miles we had just driven to get there, all the way back to... A little unsure as we pulled into the large caravan park, but instantly met by a friendly lady. Shown to our pitch, which was right next to the cove, able to see the sea that was 30 feet in front of us, was just lovely. The food at the restaurant was good too, simple, but filling and staff friendly and... More

Having enjoyed a previous stay at Seacotes caravan park we decided to do a short break again. We stayed in a 3 bed dog friendly caravan which was immaculate and modern. Well laundered bed linen for each bedroom. Great location right beside the beach, great for dog walks, families. Everyone is so friendly. Will definitely be back.

We've stayed at this site a few times in our touring caravan. The pitches are big enough for caravan plus awning and a car. Each pitch has electricity and water included in the price of £21 per night per unit. There is no extra to pay for children or pets. The shower block is basic, but more than adequate. The... More

Stayed May 2015 for 1 week.. This was our 4th stay at the park.. As usual we were on the Beachcomber site just behind the hotel.. Small compact section of the park and handy for using the hotel facilities on an evening. Ideal site for us as they allow dogs in selected caravans,, Caravan was very clean and tidy and... More
