We called in to take advantage of their £6.95 two course menu. The food was excellent even though we had quite a wait from ordering our food to it arriving at the table, 45 mins. This was surprising as they were not busy. Unfortunately I feel that the drinks are rather pricey compared to other local establishments. Nevertheless a very... More

Staying at the nearby bell-end camping and caravan site this was the nearest pub/restaurant within a short drive or energetic walk. Friendly staff, interesting menu and well cooked and presented dishes. Fine selection of ales (Timmy Taylor's) and ciders and wines and a delightful experience. Dog friendly too.

A great Inn with substantial and tasty food, welcoming hosts and lovely clean fresh rooms. The views over the pretty church are rather wonderful, but bring ear plugs if you're not used to noise it does chime through the night. Thoroughly recommend for its charm alone.

Beetham is such a pretty village to visit with the Inn dating from around 1609 and the old church next door with its 1000 years plus of history. I booked in for a night and was dealt with promptly and shown personally to my room. The room had been recently refurbished and was clean and comfortable with a large ensuite... More

The service was terrible. Staff were unfriendly. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it arrived it was awful! My food was inedible. Tough overlooked chicken and curry sauce from out of a jar. Very disappointing, and stressful as we had very hungry children and were supposed to be celebrating a special family occasion.Another couple also walked out... More

I had Sunday lunch at this cosy village pub last week and it was surprisingly good. Both children (2 and 6) enjoyed their food - the children's menu is varied and my little girl was very happy to have scrambled egg on a muffin for her Sunday lunch. My husband's gammon was not the hugest portion but it was really... More

We called into this lovely little find, just off the M6 on our way home, Im pleased we did. We werent sure they would fit us in as there had been the annual village Duck Race, so the restaurant and bar were very busy. We were welcomed straight away and politely asked if we had called in for a drink... More
