This was my forth stay at this B&B and my third review. I can only add to my previous posts by saying nothing has change. It still represents great Value for Money and STILL only £20 p.p Bed and Full English. It ain't posh but it is clean and it makes a great base for visiting the lakes and Barrow... More

I came here the other day with my daughter, my friend and her 2 little girls, the food is good value for money and the service is second to non, I had the steak pie which was full of meat and plenty of gravy and home made chips, my friend had the scampi and chips and the children had fish... More

Based on positive reviews here, we booked several weeks in advance of our trip to Maryport for the purpose of househunting. After 6+ hours travel, we walked in and were cheerfully informed that they had no room for us because there were some builders that had overstayed. This could have been a disaster for us given the circumstances; however luckily... More

Back again in Maryport, me and the mrs love it. Stayed 3 nights B&B in The Sailors. Moree and Eileen, as always were attentive and helpful, Eileen knows I have a medical problem, so she took my case upstairs. Some things never change, so you know where you are and what you get. That is why we love The Sailors.... More

Bed and breakfast still £20.00 per person, per night. There appeared to be a total of four rooms to let to the 1st floor ... along with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Rooms 1 to 3 (inc) look out across the harbour. We were allocated room number 2 ... a family room consisting of a double, a single and a... More

3 working lads here for 7 days. Been here on more than one occasion and for £20 a night I cannot fault it at all. Rooms cleaned everyday and a breakfast to die for. Landlady is amazing and nothing is beyond her reach, literally do anything for you to make you feel welcome and a home away from home. Staff... More

We only ever eat here when we visit Maryport the food is always good and piping hot. Ate there today after a visit to another attraction. Prices are good to and it won't break the bank even with drinks.

This was my 3rd stop at the 'sailors' and it was just as I remembered. A little dated but very Warm and friendly. The rooms are very tidy and clean with comfy beds(wish I knew where she bought the Matress !) and with a TV in each room. The view from the front rooms is a picture post card, (so... More

Spent a couple of nights here and came away happy. It is a B&B over a pub and it does not pretend to be otherwise. The decor was dated and some aspects did look ready for a refurb. Fortunately though the atmosphere was as dated as the decor. It was still warm and friendly with a homely feel, nothing corporate... More
