Back again in Maryport, me and the mrs love it. Stayed 3 nights B&B in The Sailors. Moree and Eileen, as always were attentive and helpful, Eileen knows I have a medical problem, so she took my case upstairs. Some things never change, so you know where you are and what you get. That is why we love The Sailors.... More

Bed and breakfast still £20.00 per person, per night. There appeared to be a total of four rooms to let to the 1st floor ... along with a shared kitchen and bathroom. Rooms 1 to 3 (inc) look out across the harbour. We were allocated room number 2 ... a family room consisting of a double, a single and a... More

3 working lads here for 7 days. Been here on more than one occasion and for £20 a night I cannot fault it at all. Rooms cleaned everyday and a breakfast to die for. Landlady is amazing and nothing is beyond her reach, literally do anything for you to make you feel welcome and a home away from home. Staff... More

We only ever eat here when we visit Maryport the food is always good and piping hot. Ate there today after a visit to another attraction. Prices are good to and it won't break the bank even with drinks.

This was my 3rd stop at the 'sailors' and it was just as I remembered. A little dated but very Warm and friendly. The rooms are very tidy and clean with comfy beds(wish I knew where she bought the Matress !) and with a TV in each room. The view from the front rooms is a picture post card, (so... More

Spent a couple of nights here and came away happy. It is a B&B over a pub and it does not pretend to be otherwise. The decor was dated and some aspects did look ready for a refurb. Fortunately though the atmosphere was as dated as the decor. It was still warm and friendly with a homely feel, nothing corporate... More

Back in Maryport again, and loved every minute of it. The B&B was difficult to get a reservation as it is really full through the week what with workers, travellers, reps etc. These people know a good deal when they find it. We were back for my wifes XXth Birthday (can't tell or she'd shoot me ;o) The team were... More

This Pub come B&B is right on the sea, the view is absolutely STUNNING. The landlady (Moree) is a wonderful lady and no issue is a problem. This is a basic, not en suite, clean B&B, good food and the breakfast is superb with as much toast, butter, marmalade and jam as you can eat (ps the coffee is magic). The... More
