My sister and I loved our stay in this very special spot: looking out towards Hart Crag and Fairfield, but also on a busy working farm complete with cats, dogs, running ducks, chooks, and a prizewinning herd of sheep. The location is perfect for exploring the Deepdale Horseshoe or the Helvellyn area, without needing to drive anywhere. And it's also... More

This was a very pleasant overnight stay, we did arrive late so a tour of the local area was not possible but as it is the lake district im sure it was stunning. As it goes for the accomodation it was great, we had a warm welcome and a great send off thanks to a fantastic breakfast, my friend and... More

We have just returned from 4 relaxing days in the Byrne at deep dale hall farm. This is a lovely cottage, well equipped and in a lovely setting. Chris and Jimmy are next door to offer any advice on the local area and help with anything. We will be back and would recommend.

THANKYOU for a wonderful time Chris and family, a truly rural British B&B we were looked after very well and the Breakfast one of the best and eaten in a truly family farm setting. I would recommend this establishment being very central for a variety of walks and drives around the area and it sits in a picturesque valley at... More

We stayed here for our 5th wedding anniversary, our first time in Patterdale and our first ever stay on a farm. What a fantastic stay we had, the setting and the weather was just perfect and Robyn, Chris and Jimmy are truly wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The room had a lovely outlook over the farm and hills... More

Wonderful hosts, and plenty of animals to keep you entertained - not that that is what they are there for!! The room was ideal for the 3 of us, good shower and comfortable beds. Tea tray even had more than enough milk jiggers, better than a big hotel. Breakfast was excellent, and if you dont want a full english, they... More

We have been staying at Deepdale Hall since 2003 and even after all this time, it's so good I am a little reluctant to share! Deepdale lies in it's own valley near the village of Patterdale, at the foot of the Kirkstone pass between Ullswater and the smaller lake of Brotherswater. It is a traditional working sheep farm and the... More

I have lost count of how many times we have stayed at Deepdale Hall Farm - and we have already booked two long weekends for 2012! Full of rustic charm, a peaceful atmosphere, and crackling logs on an open fire in the colder months - you really can't beat Deepdale Hall..... The location is perfect as a base for walking... More

Great breakfast, with local ingredients, lots of choice. Pretty bedrooms and welcoming hosts. No toast machine - always a complete plus! Very happy to dry mountains of wet walking clothes. Thoughtful extras such as corkscrew and glasses in the bedroom, plus comfortable guest lounge.
