Once again we have been made very welcome in the lakes with fabulous accommodation. We stayed in the 4 poster bedroom again and it was immaculate, again! Feels like a home from home 🏡. The little touches just finish it; tea with songs and jam on arrival, homemade biscuits 🍪 each day, dressing gown and slippers in the draw (... More

Warm welcome, with tea and scones upon arrival, and the bed was comfy and the breakfast was tasty. They went out of their way when we’d left a couple of things in the room after... More

We stayed in this lovely bed and breakfast while on a wee jaunt round the lake district. We were dining in L'Enclume, and it is just 4 and a bit miles away. I was really impressed with the size of our room. It was beautifully decorated, stylish yet still warm and welcoming. The four poster bed was fabulously comfortable. Jane,... More

Jane has a wonderful guest house in a beautiful part of the Lake District, near Newby Bridge. We arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by her friendly welcome, and offered a freshly made scone and tea after she showed us to our wonderful, warm and comfortable bedroom. It was our 1st wedding anniversary, which we had mentioned on our... More

Only a very brief stay on the way from London to Scotland but really enjoyed our comfortable room in the eaves of the house with great views. Jane was very helpful and gave us some good ideas on where to drive to get some idea of the Lake District. Lovely breakfast - first of too many on our flit around... More
