It is disappointing that I feel I have had to write this review, but I can't believe I had to wait for an hour for 3 starters this evening!!! This evening we dined at the the dolly blue bar, a family of 4 adults and 2 children. It was the last evening of our holiday and we thought we would... More

Great Spa facilities and pool area , although the hot tub wasn't working on our visit. The rooms are nice and spacious, a nice relaxing hotel. The only downside wasn't having to wait for well over an hour to be served an average meal in the Dolly Blue Bar !

Great hotel set on the bank of the river, where you can sit with a pint of local ale or a glass of wine and watch the world go by. Love the Dolly Blue Bar, good layout with a contemporary feel and great food, at busy times the staff needed more guidance in clearing tables and communicating the waiting time... More

Lovely hotel could possibly do with some updating, despite this rooms spacious, clean and had excellent view over the river. Staff friendly nothing to much trouble. Leisure facilities excellent although on second day hot tub was out of order which was disappointing. breakfast was good with a wide selection to choose from. Will definitely return.

We stayed at the whitewater hotel for my wife's birthday in March. A couple of days before they told us the restaurant was shut.... anyhow, we got an upgrade to a superior room to help smooth the restaurant closed. The bistro was still open and the food was good here but slow on the first night (I think because the... More

We booked a spa break to include 2 spa treatments with afternoon tea, 2 nights in the hotel, breakfast both mornings and dinner with sparkling wine on arrival. Check in was easy, quick and friendly with everything clearly explained. Help offered with bags too. We were directed to our room and found it fine. Lift had the funniest female voice... More

I visited the hotel for an overnight spa break with my 3 sisters and Mum to celebrate my sister's upcoming 50th birthday. We booked for dinner, bed and breakfast and 2 30 minute treatments. The accommodation was perfect and the staff were lovely. Dinner and breakfast were both fantastic. We also had lunch in the bar both days which was... More

One thing I detest doing is putting up a bad review, but unfortunately I find here I have to just say it as it is...a chef can make or break a business and the ones attempting to pass food of as a meal in The Dolly Blue bar are doing a real good job of it..no excuses being a Easter Weekend,you... Me and my wife came here for a 3 night minimoon after just getting married. On arrival I was blown away by its appearance and location just in front of the river. Our stay was with a groupon deal which included 2 3 course meals and breakfast. On arrival we was greeted by freindly staff who throughout our stay were... More
