Stayed for a few days whilst visiting nearby Muncaster Castle. Friendly, clean room, ensuite bathroom. Rooms were lovely, warm and spacious. Nice decor. On main road, but no traffic noise with windows shut. Excellent breakfast. Homely atmosphere and lovely Landlady.

Brilliant 4 night stay here in May. The owner is so friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for her. We could pick our own breakfast time and the food was fantastic. The room was quiet and spotlessly clean. Beautiful, well equipped bathroom. Highly recommended!

We were very impressed with this B&B. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a very comfortable bed. Sue was very welcoming and told us all about the local area. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel/B&B. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We stayed two nights at the pavilion, room was nice and cosy with plenty of natural light, shower room was fine. Owner was very friendly and helpful, as other people have said it is near train station, shops, pubs and banks if you need to get cash. Not far to drive to the lakes and if you are a bird... More

Wonderful little b&b. Cute, clean & with absolutely faultless service. Near Milom train station & village centre where there are good local pubs which do food. So good that we're going back next time we're in the south lakes.

As the person securing the booking I needed to request a packed lunch for my husband and daughter for their planned activity the next day and required more information. Voicemail message left and Sue was very prompt in her response and VERY friendly along with her advice. Thanks Sue! My family found the guest house very friendly and homely. The... More

Didn't stay the night as they were fully booked but just want to thank the very helpful owners for ringing round the area and finding us alternative accommodation when we were stranded due to the snow. Looks like a nice place and we will hopefully return in better weather!

Good location only 5 minutes from railway station. Sue made us feel very welcome in her lovely 19th Century house. Large, nicely decorated warm bedroom with comfortable bed and good linen. Good to have an armchair to relax in, even if it was only for one night. Fresh flowers, cotton napkins and and eclectic array of decorative glassware and china... More

I stayed at The Pavilion Guest House for one night and was pleasantly surprised by the very positive experience I had. The rooms are lovely, beds are comfortable, facilities are more than adequate and the host is friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone.

Do not judge this book by its cover... although my partner and mother-in-law saw this place from the outside and expected something spartan, we were delighted to find warm, welcoming, comfortable accommodation. The rooms were tastefully decorated, with plenty of space and comfortable beds and nice little touches like plenty of sitting space and surfaces, as well as WiFi and... More
