Stayed at Aynsome Manor Hotel for a Spring break. From reception to check-out, this hotel provides the ultimate in relaxation and is a departure point for many walks and drives into the Lakes. The local Cartmel Priory is a must for a visit. The hospitality and meals are of such high standard that once you stay here you will continue... More

A very good experience with friends on a walking holiday . A really good value hotel run by a great team lead by Chris. Everything was brilliantly organised with nothing too much trouble and a great welcome. Excellent food with daily changing three course high quality menu. The hotel is a bit tired in some places and could do with... More

Have just returned from a 2 day break. The setting for this hotel is perfect (if you want peace and quiet).I cannot fault any thing at all. Rooms are bright , airy and spotlessly clean, food is excellent and service is second to none. The whole place has a homely feeling.People that I spoke to had been coming for years.This... More

This is an incredible hotel and certainly worth more than three stars! Our host, Andrea greeted us and showed us to our room which was lovely with a brand en suite with a shower. The hotel is in beautiful surroundings and itself is very very sumptuous. There is a lovely lounge and also a small cosy bar. We were served... More

We've stayed at Aynsome Manor several times and it has never been anything other than a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Lovely staff, comfy rooms, wonderful food....it never lets us down. Cartmel is a delightful village with interesting shops and cosy pubs - look forward to our next visit!

I couldn't recommend this place enough. It's run by a lovely couple who were both charm personified The rooms were clean, spacious and full of charm. Roaring fires in most rooms, a fully stocked bar and the food was simply stunning. We only stayed for two nights but would not hesitate booking again for a fortnight. Keep up the good... More

This was our second stay here although we have dined here on a couple of other occasions. The hotel is a typical Cumbrian Stone built hotel in the Lake District located close to the village of Cartmel. Its decor is charming the rooms are old style, not old fashioned but with all the amenities. The food is first class and... More

My friend booked this hotel for an overnight stay as a belated Christmas and early birthday present. The hotel has great views and the room was very comfortable and clean. The evening meal was of average quality, the best being the soup and cheese courses, the lamb was cooked well but lacked flavour and the gratin potatoes were overcooked. If... More
