We stayed in a nearby holiday cottage for a week at half term. We were warmly welcomed by Stuart, Neil, all the staff and the friendly labs on our daily visits at the end of our long Lakeland walks! It is obvious that they have worked very hard to create a warm, cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We ate on a... More

Spent a lovely night at The Boot Inn and the food was delicious, especially the top quality breakfast. The staff were so helpful when we were having car problems even making us a brew. A real, warm and friendly place in a gorgeous area. So nice we have booked again with friends. Jeanette and Dave

We have stayed at the Boot Inn before and always enjoyed our stay. This was our first visit under the new owners however and I must say that it was the best ever as they are really doing a great job. For those who have yet to visit Boot let me advise first of all that it is an idyllic... More

Hi there, Thankyou very much for taking the time to cover all aspects of your stay. We are especially happy with the "not posh" quote as we are trying to provide a more relaxed atmosphere so that our guests can do exactly that, relax and unwind in what you very rightly described as a beautiful and unspoilt part of the... Stayed with our dog for two nights 18th/19th February. Room 5 had a lovely comfy bed and big bathroom. We ate both evenings in the pub and really enjoyed excellent quality food and service. We didn't need to move the car as we could find walks at every level to do from the pub. It is a very quiet area... More

Hi there, Thanks for the great review. It certainly is a lot quieter than some of the other parts of the Lakes! Probably why we are seeing so many return visitors who not just stay with us but use the campsites, other pubs, holiday cottages and B&Bs as well. Regards Stuart The Boot Inn More

We visited the Boot Inn for a family event, our first visit under the new management. As usual, the pub is very pleasant inside and out, in a lovely location. We were met by very friendly staff who looked after our every need. We had a number of young children and fussy older family members but nothing was too much... More

Hi there, We are always a little nervous when regulars at our other pub come to stay. It's a bit like a competition !! Equally we also wanted Valentines day to go really well for all our guests so it's great to hear that we managed it! Regards Stuart The Boot Inn More
