Hav'nt stayed in the accomodation, but went in for Sunday lunch with our family, absolutely superb food and a nice atmosphere with great service, got the impression some customers ate there on a regular basis. We'll be going back.

Having stayed at The Stork on several occasions now it's about time that we should give it the credit it deserves. Actually a pub with accommodation you will receive a warm welcome to something that feels much more like home than a conventional hotel. Comfy beds, great "home" prepared food, and great owners and staff. What more could you want.

We didn't actually stay here but has friends that were and said it was really nice. We did however eat here twice. The first night there was just myself and my daugtter, we sat in the bar by the cosy log Fire. The staff were great. We both had steak pie, mine was that filling I couldn't manage it all.... More

We stayed here a night. Paul kindly picked us up. The room is very mod but tiny. Can I suggest you get a room at the back as the front rooms are really noisy with traffic even in a quiet country town, both at night and early morning. The pub meal was okay with emphasis on big helpings and fried... More

A last minute need to change our B & B caused the move to The Stork. Although some 3 miles from the C2C at Ennerdale Bridge, a pick up was available on phoning. Our hosts were most welcoming and prepared to chat with us. Rooms were OK but nothing more. Food was ample and typical pub fayre.

Stayed here with my dad for a night after our first day's walking c2c. The landlord was very hospitable, driving to Ennerdale Bridge to pick us up. The room was comfortable, and although the evening meal wasn't what I would describe as fine dining, the large portions were a very welcome sight for hungry stomachs. All round this place comes... Stayed at the Stork Hotel at the end of my 1st day on the Coast to Coast. The owners offer a pick up and drop off service from Ennerdale Bridge. After my previous nights stay at the Manor House in St Bees, I was expecting another noisy night above a pub, but the rooms are set at the back of... More

Welcoming and pleasant place to stay. The room whilst small was adequate and we slept well. Wifi in our room was weak and only worked if you stood by the door. This could be easily improved ... The proprietors look after C2C walkers and are used to their questions and issues.

A short notice booking for four nights was taken professionally and clearly by friendly owner. On arrival the atmosphere was welcoming and accomodating. After sorting my room out a visit to the bar downstairs for a pint of local ale and a look through the menu which was comprehensive and would to suit most tastes. Having settled for the steak...
