Booked the Spring/Summer Revive Day offer for £35 which included back massage, afternoon tea and use of all facilities (pools, hot tub, sauna, gym). Excellent customer service from all staff we met. Lovely clean facilities! Thoroughly relaxing day, lovely massage and delicious food. Only downside would be the rather small changing facilities, which could benefit from more private individual changing... More

From the moment we registered to when we checked out we received exempliary service. Room comfort and decor was very good. The quality of the evening dinners was superb, backed up by quietly attentive service. An excellent base from which to tour the northern lakes. Highly recommended.

Some fellow reviewers have described their stay at the Lodore as ‘excellent’, ‘outstanding and ‘friendly’. Sadly, whilst not wishing to be too negative about a generally good hotel, I have to slightly disagree. The problem is that the Lodore is a large hotel and has to process lots of guests. This is achieved by employing a mostly Eastern European restaurant... More

I stayed here with my family for 1 night as a stopover on the way to Scotland. I found the hotel online after searching for a luxury hotel near keswick. On arrival at the hotel we quickly found the car park and I checked in. The staff at reception were amazing as we're all the staff during our sta. once... More

This was our first visit to this hotel and as It was a special occasion we had booked a superior room which was well worth it. The view across Derwentwater was stunning - you could lie in bed look down the lake. The room was spotless and despite the large window, which had been a patio door, it seemed dark... More

My wife and stayed for 2 nights on a Bed, Breakfast and Dinner offer. The hotel is excellent; the staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional. The food is excellent. The hotel grounds are beautiful, the amenities are excellent and a great base for the Dervent Water lakes area. We both can't wait to return again.

Four of us went for a spa afternoon at the Lodore Falls Hotel. This is our 3rd visit and can only say good words for it. A family ticket is £24. Use of two pools, sauna, gym and hot tub. We then had a round of sandwiches in the garden afterwards. Lovely setting, good friendly service and reasonably priced.

We visited the hotel for spa days twice during our holiday in the lakes and would totally recommend. The spa facilities are good and the food delicious. The staff are excellent, particularly Peter on the spa team who was so kind and attentive on both days. He really made our visit extra special. Samantha was also so professional and friendly,... The outlook from lakeview rooms over Derwent water is ever changing from morning to evening and brilliant sun to misting rain. Although there is a public road within metres of the front of the hotel, judicious use of double glazing virtually nullifies traffic noise. The rooms are somewhat dated but have the essentials, effective shower, desk, old but working TV,... More

Got a half price spa afternoon with afternoon teas and wine all for £39. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The changing rooms were very small and cramped with 1 toilet and 2 showers. Average pool but limited space around only 2 loungers.Good sauna, I had an Indian head massage the treatment area was lovely... More
