Recently stayed overnight at the Natrass Tea Rooms. Nothing was too much trouble - even gave us a lift into town after a hard days ride from Workington on the C2C. Thanks for making us very comfortable.

We stayed here whilst doing the C2C cycle route. We arrived late and very wet but the hosts went out of their way to make us welcome, dry us off and provided an impromptu meal. Absolute life savers after a cold, wet day in the saddle. Great breakfast in the morning saw us happily on our way.

Well, we have our hat trick now, having stayed for 3 consecutive years! Not for us, a modern air conditioned car with cruise control. No. Give us a 50yr old moped to do a 300 mile round trip on in the rain, on the coast to coast. The welcome is, as always, fantastic. The food and comfort likewise. Do stay... More

Stayed at the West Nattrass Guest House while doing the C2C cycle route . We had a very warm welcome including a cup of tea and homemade cake when we arrived. Our hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us, even lending us their daugher's hairdryer. The family are friendly and we had an excellent breakfast to send us... More

My husband and I stayed at West Nattress in early June on day two of cycling the C2C. It had been a difficult day so when Gina opened up her house to us, we were very grateful. The bedroom was quiet, comfortable and modern. We were made to feel we were part of the wonderful Biemer family by the time... More

Steve and Gina run this wonderful Guest house and Bistro, a short distance from Alston. It has all the facilities you could require and has great views with plenty of walking nearby. A very friendly place to stay.

The leaflet said "a warm welcome awaits you " & it does. We had a lovely nights stay on 20 April, The room was very warm & comfortable/ it had been a cold week so this was important. We were offered tea & cake when we arrived. The owners were very accommodating & were happy for us to get up... More

Myself and a group of friends have stayed 2 consecutive years at this guesthouse whilst doing the C to C on vintage mopeds. The word "guesthouse" doesn't do it justice!! No Battle Axe landlady here waiting up with a rolling pin! The food is excellent, served by two delightful waitresses, and we always have the evening meal, which is better... More

Every year my friend and I book a week’s accommodation for a walking holiday. We select a remote area and enjoy daily circular walks of 7 to 10 miles. This year we were fortunate to select the gem of West Nattrass as our base. Being out all day we did not use the Tea Rooms, but the accommodation was first... More

Stayed at this lovely B&B during our C2C cycle. Received a warm welcome from Gina and Stephen when we arrived complete with a hot cup of tea and one of Gina's homemade cupcakes. Was absolutely delightful. Our room was equally delightful - homely, spacious and comfortable with clean, good en suite shower. If you've run out of shampoo like we... More
