The guest house is situated in beautiful quiet surroundings. We received the warmest of welcomes when we arrived into lovely warm and inviting house. Our rooms was wonderfully clean and quiet with nothing to disturb us. Upon arrival we had tea and the yummiest home made cake! before retiring to our room for the evening. The bed was so comfortable... More

We arrived at this B&B quite late but we were made very welcome by the owners, served with tea and cake which was very welcome after along day traveling. The B&B is about a mile outside Alston but it is well worth the trip up the hill. The accommodation is very clean, one of the cleanest B&B's we've have stayed... More

We stayed two nights at West Nattrass Guesthouse while we were visiting the Hadrian's Wall area. Gina and Stephen are very friendly and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to help us locate some local history relating to my family, Nattrass. The B&B was one of the most comfortable and peaceful ones we stayed at during our visit... More

Stephen and Gina are fantastic hosts and we felt like having visited old friends, despite a first time meeting. The room is carefully decorated and furbished with a cosy bed, the bathroom and shower quality is superb. And so is the food provided; breakfast as well as the lovely home cooked dinner! The place is located just a mile out... More

We were cycling the coast 2 coast and chose this as the perfect middle point. I am so glad we did. Stephen and Gina went out of their way to accommodate us. From... More

Recently stayed overnight at the Natrass Tea Rooms. Nothing was too much trouble - even gave us a lift into town after a hard days ride from Workington on the C2C. Thanks for making us very comfortable.

We stayed here whilst doing the C2C cycle route. We arrived late and very wet but the hosts went out of their way to make us welcome, dry us off and provided an impromptu meal. Absolute life savers after a cold, wet day in the saddle. Great breakfast in the morning saw us happily on our way.

Well, we have our hat trick now, having stayed for 3 consecutive years! Not for us, a modern air conditioned car with cruise control. No. Give us a 50yr old moped to do a 300 mile round trip on in the rain, on the coast to coast. The welcome is, as always, fantastic. The food and comfort likewise. Do stay... More
