Guess most hotels are the same in the UK and all have expensive bars this venu is no different.
If you like a drink jump a taxi and go somewhere local the taxi fare will be saved by cheaper drinks elsewhere.

Two issues.
Staff very nice and helpfull apart from the grounds staff cutting grass who where arrogant and somewhat offensive when I asked them to wait while I moved my car whilst they carried on with their duties. Terrible.

we were travelling through and we got a last minute deal, good location near the motorway with nice staff and clean rooms but the beds were terrible. Sooo lumpy. Not what you expect from a well known chain. Maybe we were unlucky with that room, as the rest of it was good.

Basic accomodation. Ok for business purposes. Bar area is clean and food is very good. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Internet is free. No gym or pool. Not much in the immediate area but some nice restaurants within 5 min drive. Staff are friendly!!!

A basic hotel that is clean and tidy. Tv/coffee making/iron/ hairdryer/parking/wifi all included. We stayed enroute home from a festival and found the location incredibly boring! Friendly staff though. Good, clean accomodation.
