What a beautiful village this hotel is in, well worth a look around if you have a chance. Hotel itself is very pleasant. Lovely and clean room, we were upgraded to a four poster room, which was a welcome gesture. Breakfast both days was very nice, cooked to order and there was plenty choice. Beautiful building, which has kept a... More

Four of us ate here last Saturday evening and had a very pleasant evening. The food was tasty, I had whitebait followed by glazed pork and would not hesitate in having these again or trying another dish. The service was excellent, we were not kept waiting for our food, and the total bill was just over £100 for 3 courses... More

Although we were there for a one night stay we were made very welcome with our dog with a nice stables room, perfect for in/out to the car and dog walking. Free treats for dogs in the reception! Our dinner in the evening was full of atmosphere in their main dining area (a number of smaller rooms were perfect for... More

We were introduced to Simon and Sue who looked after us from the very beginning, Sue showed us around the building explaining the areas, bedroom types and showed us into the Hunt Room a marvellous function room very... But whilst everyone - from OAP's supping halves, to families out for dinner, to the lager-drinking lads wearing short sleeved shirts (in what... More
