We stayed in this hotel as we were at a wedding about 6 miles away. On arrival we could see there was renovations taking place. First of all the hotel is very reasonably priced. It has a pool, sauna, jacuzzi and small gym. So in that respect Britannia is a bargain. With the price I was willing to have some compromise - the old and tired decor, worn furniture and slightly slow checkin wouldn't have bothered me.
