We recently attended a function at the hotel and what a great time my husband and I had. The location was perfect with plenty of car parking spaces. The receptionist was most helpful and even arranged a drink for us after a long journey. Food was very nice, with good portions and piping hot. The bedroom was a good size... More

We recently held my mums birthday party here and it wasn't great. We had event decorators in from 2pm as we were told that's when we could have the room from but on the day they changed their minds and said it was from 7pm, the party started at 7.30pm. Rooms were shabby, all needs completely decorating. It use to... More

We have spent the weekend in your hotel attending our son's wedding. We all had an amazing weekend. Everything went like clockwork. We had arranged a pre-wedding dinner on Friday which was very good. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was left to chance. On Saturday the hotel were brilliant. Everything my Son and his Fiancé had... More

Would highly recommend this hotel we had a lovley overnight stay while visiting Biddulph and Trentam gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful the grounds are beautiful and would make a great backdrop for any photos. The rooms are lovely and clean. The only negative if it is that is the bath takes ages to fill. Loads of TV... More

Just returned from an overnight stay whilst on a tour with Newmarket Holidays. We thought this hotel was lovely & in a really lovely setting. The staff are very friendly & nothing too much trouble. The quality of the food was good, we didn't have any complaints. The rooms are of a nice size, very clean and the beds really... More

Lovely large room on the first floor with an enormous bed and plenty of space. I wasn't keen on the french doors which opened inwards only being secured with bolts at the bottom rather than locking in a more conventional manner!! As a solo traveller I felt security was a little lacking there. I usually don't sleep well when away... More

Stayed here for 1 night for the first time ever. It is very well placed being around 1 minute from the M6. The Hotel is very picturesque and stands within large beautifully manicured grounds. Plenty of car parking spaces then entry into the hotel itself via a large planted courtyard - again very pleasant. The hotel itself is very nice... More

When we stayed we went for a room and gourmet meal deal. The room was very dated and there was very little hot water, when we complained about the lack of hot water we were told there were lots of people staying, but when we went for dinner the place was dead, with only a few cars in the car... Dear Scott thanks for leaving feedback following your recent stay. I was very sorry to hear you were disappointed. The boilers should produce instant hot water at all times and I have arranged for this to be checked by our service engineer. East Cheshire Council, our local authority regulatory body, awarded us the highest Environmental Health rating available, 5. All... More
