Went for my 40th. Suitable only for grown ups and the demographic is definitely on the side of pensionable!! However I think this is evidence of knowing a good thing having Ben around the block. £17 for 3 courses and £22 for pink is. They also do £40 for 3 courses 2 people and a bottle of wine evenings mon... More

Stayed here recently and it was a mixed experience. The lunch we had was truly excellent with great food and service enjoyed by all. We stayed overnight and for the price, the rooms were only adequate. We were in a sort of annexe and getting there involves several different levels with no assistance offered by the staff. The room was... More

Thank you for your comments; I am sorry you did not enjoy breakfast - staff are always on hand to order more food from the Chef as and when required. More

I recently attended a wedding at The Bridge Hotel, Prestbury. Firstly, I would like to say that the hotel is very nice, rooms comfortable and clean and the staff couldn’t be faulted. The food was also excellent. My father in law was also at the wedding is very unstable on his feet and due to his balance issues, the hotel... More

The offer of assistance ie: our own wheelchair was gratefully received, and we are very upset that this is the way we are repaid. Further to correspondence already received, I will re-iterate our comments. This is a very old 'quirky' building, which cannot easily be adapted to everyone's needs. We always do our best to help everyone, and judging by... More

Visited the hotel again on the Fabulous Friday's offer. We were welcomed by the friendly receptionist and shown to our room. We relaxed in the afternoon, before having a pre dinner drink in the bar. The restaurant was busy, which created a great atmosphere. Delicious dinner, with fantastic service. We enjoyed our leisurely breakfast the next morning, which was a... More

I recently went to a christening here in the function room downstairs. It was lovely and the food was excellent. There were 3 bar staff, 2 young lads and a much older one who was sullen. The drinks are expensive so my daughter went to the bar with her debit card, the older guy took one look at it and... More

We have recently returned from holding our wedding at The Bridge Hotel on March 14th. Over the weekend, we occupied 8 rooms located in the annexe of the hotel which is the side of the Function Room. All of the bedrooms were fab, no issues from any of the wedding party. All bedrooms tastefully decorated, they accommodate children on z... More

I've spent more than thirty nights here so far this year, so the place must be reasonable! Part of the attraction is the village, which is attractive, has a good selection restaurants and a shop that's open late - all within walking distance. The main hotel building itself is quaint, but old-fashioned - it obviously suits the generally older people... More

We stayed at the Bridge on Sat 7th of March for our friends daughters wedding. Great day by all involved at the hotel. We stayed over and the room was nice and clean but bed and pillows not to our liking, but won't stop us visiting again. First time stay over but we have eaten there previously and thoroughly enjoyed... More

Dropped into this Restaurant on the way back from Wilmslow. We had not booked as it was just a casual call. The food that my wife and I had was excellent and we thought extremely well priced. The Restaurant filled up fairly quickly with what we assumed were local people lunching which is always a good indicator of quality and... More

This hotel does have character and is very much how it would have been 20 years ago. Established in a routine that works. Old cliental returning week after week. Old world charm from long standing staff. We enjoyed our stay in a pleasant, warm room ( Number 14 ) The meal was good but the music made it for us.... More
